Bullying with a capital B
I couldn’t finish this book. Maybe it gets better. But the first few chapters…. The protagonist is such a bully. Not as overt as the antagonist but regardless, it’s not cool. And I won’t be a bystander to it even through fiction. Even though it’s fiction, I’m sure this is real life too. The author has influence over young readers and should use it more responsibly.

I like it but.
I really like this book, it’s is kinda teen at some points and adult in other spots. I do really enjoy the story I only gave it 4 stars because it’s u realistic at times. Still I really like the characters and the narrators are doing a great job.

Great YA story and awesome narration!
I don't usually listen to YA but Jessica is a great writer and I loved the way she weaved mystery, romance, and humor into this story. Amelia is a vivacious and strong female lead with an immense heart for her newfound friends while trying to protect them from her secret. And Aiden is the perfect jerk turned softy and protector in this enemies to lover trope as he and Amelia find common ground and develop feelings for each other. I'm definitely going to listen to the rest of the series! The narration was fantastic and I don't think anyone else could have done such a superb job with the character voices.
