Publisher's summary

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point.

Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs.

Now Bella has made her decision; a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?

The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic.

my only suggestion for making it better

I wish they had just had Ilyana Kadushin read the female parts and Matt Walters read the male parts. I UNDERSTAND why they didn't and why they did it like they did but it was maddening having every characters voice change back and forth through every section of the book. It absolutely drove me crazy. Beyond that the book was wonderful. (And no, I don't believe this was the fault of the narrators. It was the fault of whomever made the choice to structure the reading in this way)

Vickie's twilight review.

Would you consider the audio edition of Breaking Dawn to be better than the print version?

No, the print version is always better if you are a reader, but I did enjoy the audio very much.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Edward is because of the genuineness of his love of Bella and his family.

What does Ilyana Kadushin and Matt Walters bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They gave a more character's voice to the story, but it might have been better if their voices were in connection with the character they read for.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, it did all of those and other emotions.

Any additional comments?

I really love this books series and I wish it was more onto it.

Great book

What made the experience of listening to Breaking Dawn the most enjoyable?

First of all, this was the first time I had ever had a book to read to me. After watching the 1st part of the movie I was desperate to find out the conclusion before the second part of Breaking Dawn come to theaters. I would say having Matt Walters and Ilyana Kadushin narrate the story was great. I found it nice having two narrators read the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Breaking Dawn?

The wedding of course because that seems how everything else later came into play. If the wedding had never happened then the other things wouldnt have. Everyone knows Edward lived how they did in the golden years. He wanted to wait till marriage before anything else happened between Bella and him. Another memorable moment is Bella getting pregnant with a vampires baby. Third of all, the birth of Bella and Edwards child. Lastly, Bella dying and waking up as a vampire.

Which scene was your favorite?

Its sort of hard to say because the book was broke into three parts. I liked the way Jacob put the others in the wolf pack in their place. When he did it showed that he really was the alpha male. Another part was when he told Bella and the others he phased in front of Charlie.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes absolutely. It was long but it was great. I am a stay at home mom but its still difficult to just keep the headphones in at all times. When I reached the third part of the book I found myself seduced and I couldnt stop listening. I would find myself still awake at six in the morning when it was time for my child to go to school.

Any additional comments?

I hope Stephenie Meyers continues more novels like Twilight. For instance she has a new character she can write about and thats Ranezamay, Bella and Edwards daughter. Im sure I didnt spell her name right but ohh well. If she was to write more novels about the half vampire, half human and her powers then she can continue writing about the characters from the Twilight series.

Breaking Dawn

By far the best out of all the Twilight series, you would believe that we actually live amongst vampires - no matter what our differences are, we can work together, seems to be the moral of this story.

This Book Isn't For Teenagers

I agree, this book is definitely NOT for the teenager reader! I am a 41 year old and was surprised at the spin in writing style that the writer took. The writing style has switched to become very graphic, sexual, and crude.

Mediocre writing, but who cares, it's Twilight...

The narrator does a good job, though her voice is a tad annoying.
The writing in this series is not good, but the plot is captivating. It'll keep you entertained!

Hated to hear it end.....

Our of the entire book series, I loved this book the most. It had a lot of action, a lot going on and I really enjoyed all the new characters and of course, how the book ended. The movies were good but I have to say, the books were even better. The books just give you so much more detailed information and now I understand a lot of things that were said or happened in the movie that I didn't understand before, that I would never have known at all, if I had not read the books. If you read the other three books in the series, of course you HAVE to read this one and you'll be glad you did.
This book series could go off in so many other directions. I truly hope that Stephenie Meyer's will write some spin-off books using other characters from this book series.
