Begin with Magician Apprentice/Master
Talon of the Silver Hawk is an excellent continuation of the story started many books ago. Introducing new characters and making you care for them as you learn of older characters and how they fared. If you are new to the series please begin with Magician Apprentice and enjoy the deep and rich story as it develops.

This Book is an all time favorite!

The 1 book that started it.
I read this book years ago and it was the first book I’ve read from REF but the one that propelled me into his many sagas of books. The character is someone you are drawn into as his trials and evolution is something you hold your breath for. Anyway that’s all I’ll say about it cause I don’t wanna type anymore.

I love this author!
The story is so engrossing you can’t put it down. The story is nothing new, boy’s village gets slaughtered and boy seeks revenge, but the author’s writing makes you hang on for what’s coming next.
