I love reading BN books. As always this was a wonderful book read. I enjoyed the characters in this book. I also listening to on Audible while reading this book at the same time. This is how I read a book the Audible is very entertaining and makes me feel like I am right there. The narrator performance was really entertaining and exciting to listen too. 📖❤️📚

Narration flubs

I enjoyed this book very much, despite the narrator’s mispronounced words. Her “bed” sounds like bahd, as well as “said sounds like sahd. It seems that almost all of the author’s words that have a short “e” were spoken as if it is an ah sound. It is bothersome, but I managed to overlook it and listen to the story with a scowl on my face.
Who edits these books? Is anyone listening for errors?

Narrator

I always like Brenda Novak and this was a good book but the narrator almost ruined the it for me. She was not good!

Excellent story! It really held my attention, hated for it to end.

The narrator is great, she is so much better than a lot of them for sure!

Feel good book

I enjoyed the various story lines. Narcissism, forgiveness, insecurities and the big surprise kept me engaged.

Another Masterpiece from Brenda Novak

This is one of my favorite Brenda Novak’s books. This is a must read for anyone who loves her books!

a perfect escape

When Marlo invites her two best girlfriends to spend the summer with her at her parent's island home,it was suppose to be a time to recharge and get ready to tackle life again. Who could have guessed that the summer would include crazy exes, a bad storm, and a secret from the past that would change everything!

I enjoyed this! Great summer read.

This is a great book to read on vacation or to set the mood for an upcoming vacation. Also, it reminds you of the power of forgiveness even if it is so hard to do in certain situations.

To slow and boring

Struggled to finish. Was so predictable. Did not like narration, to slow but that may also been due to the story.

Narrators voice 😩

I never write reviews, but felt I would on this book. I’ve read one Brenda Novak book in the past and really enjoyed it. Yet, this one was pretty painful to listen too. The narrators voice ruined it for me from the beginning. Plus, it was predictable from the very beginning and just dragged on.
