One of my favorite books!

Great mystery with no unnecessary detailed sex scenes, just plain fun to listen to. It’s a bit creepy with a great mystery. Pretty predictable but still so good! I absolutely loved it! Made my work day go by faster

my favorite 1 yet

J.R. Erickson never seems to amaze me with the way he takes true story's and turn them into such an amazing read/listen, his story may change alot but in honesty everything he says could be 100 percent true .

Review for Still Falling

I loved the mix between different tropes like Horror, Paranormal and True Crime. It was a great build-up towards all the characters my favorite being Lola and Aiden while having a love-hate relationship with District Attorney.

When Iris discovers the gift she shares with her grandmother it brings in that Paranormal side and it did scare me a few times picturing the dead. I loved Lola because my grandma suffers from Dementia, So hearing the relationship between Iris and her brought such a warm mix of sadness to my heart. However, I enjoyed it because I would picture myself at times as Iris in those chapters.

The only Critique I have is, that I wish the scenes didn't fade to Black between Irish and the other characters during intimate moments. That it was more descriptive.

The ending was unexpected but I enjoyed it! Definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants to read/listen to Still Falling.

I love this series. This one of the best, but they are all good. I had a hard time putting it down.

Loved it!

Didn’t want this book to end. Narration was great, story line kept me interested. Wish this one was a bit longer. On to the next in the series!

Very, very good

Well, this is another great story by this author.

A beautifully haunting tale of loss and fate, for moments truly chilling but always captivating. The character of Iris is great, and when she decides that she needs to know the truth.... oh! then her determination is astonishing. And her grandmother! She's such a sweet, comforting woman. I really loved her, too.

The writing is, as always, really good, with the perfect flow between calm and tension to keep you trapped in the story.

The resolution of the mystery was completely unexpected, but once you understand what happened it makes perfect sense. And the ending is very satisfactory.

Elizabeth Phillips' narration is excellent.

Enjoyable

This story started out being suspenseful but by the end it was a little bit of a letdown. The supernatural turned out not to be scary. I liked the characters and the story line but the book, as a whole, fell short. Love the narrator. Will definitely get another book from this author to see where she goes.

Great story with a really great narrator!

Pros:
Based on a true crime story
Supernatural spookiness
Naturally gifted psychic mediums
Independent, successful, sexually confident female MC
Multiple crimes and suspects
Really thrilling and "happy" ending
Romance

Cons:
Some parts were a little slow for me (but the ending was fast moving and thrilling)
The excess drinking of the female MC bothered me because she was a strong woman and it made her very weak in those instances.

Altogether, a great read and a really great narrator for the audiobook version! 4.5⭐️ rounded up to 5. I will definitely read/listen to more of this author's work.
