Publisher's summary

After the events of The High Republic: Convergence, the Jedi travel to Jedha in this all-new Star Wars audiobook original.

Jedha. The worn streets of this ancient world serve as a confluence for the galaxy. Visited by all, yet owned by none. Here, the Jedi are but one creed among many worshipping and studying the Force. From the Guardians of the Whills to the Path of the Open Hand, countless beings come to learn, and to share, in peace.

As all of Jedha prepares for its Festival of Balance, the galaxy still reels from the violence on Eiram and E’ronoh. But after foiling a plot to escalate the war between the two planets, the Jedi believe that a lasting peace may be within reach. Master Creighton Sun and Jedi Knight Aida Forte arrive on Jedha with delegations from both planets to formally end the “Forever War.” The Jedi hope that the harmony of Jedha’s many factions, along with the signing of a peace treaty, will create a symbol to the rest of the galaxy of what can be accomplished through unity.

But not all are happy with the Jedi’s involvement or ready to concern themselves with peace. Rumors begin to swirl that the Jedi bring war in their wake. The distrust and anger that for so long fueled the Forever War now threaten to corrupt the communities of Jedha. When violence breaks out on the sacred moon, the war that was meant to end on Jedha may soon engulf the entire world.

Fun adventure but really just that

I always love Star Wars content, especially the books, but this newest addition to THR phase 2 just seemed a bit lackluster. The plot is kicked down the road slowly without much payoff in this addition, and most of the tertiary characters to the story receive unnecessarily stinted attention (namely the Mother, Marda, the Herald). Still SO excited to read/listen to the next one!!!

Very Fun with Great Ties to Phase One

Lots of mystery and intrigue; we get to explore something not really touched on before in Star Wars: religious zealotry. Jedha is a fantastic locale, and I’m hoping we get to spend even more time there in the future.

Loving the High Republic Audiodramas

Great story and awesome performances. Love to hear about Jehda more and the different factions of the force. Highly recommend!

Great overall story!

Some of the voice acting was a struggle to listen to, but overall, a great book.

Another great star wars drama

This was a solid story from start to finish. It ties in with the phase 2 of the high republic stories, though I think on its own it wouldn't make much sense what was going on. As part of the whole of the High Republic it's fantastic though. My biggest gripe is the fact that there's a character named Creighton and one named Kradon pronounced nearly identically, thankfully they never interact so the confusion is minimal.

Very middling story with solid performances

I don't generally like the audio drama format, as the action can be a little hard to follow. The performers here did an excellent job though and made it easier. The overall story was unfortunately messy, and would likely have been served better as a novella than an audio drama

Not bad!

I wasn’t a huge fan of the previous audio drama “Tempest Runner” - it just really wasn’t my thing. I figured I might as well give this one a shot and was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the story. It was a great addition to the High Republic novels.

Decent

This was a decent listen/read but not my favorite high republic book. Voice actors seemed a little off, but story was soooo good! I recommend.

Great timeline

I enjoyed the book and how it has continued on from the first convergence I am looking forward to the next to hear what happens and how it all plays out

Explore Jedha in Audio Drama

While the audio drama format remains a bit challenging for me to follow without the script, this is most clear entry yet for Star Wars. No flashbacks or frequent changes of setting make for a straightforward adventure-mystery story about a peace conference on Jedha in the High Republic prequel era. The highlight is learning more about the diverse Force-related religions of the galaxy far, far away and meeting Keth Cerepath, an adjunct of the Church of the Force, whose hero’s journey and companion droid, who speaks only in religious epitaphs, are delightful entries into the pantheon of Star Wars characters.
