A fun cozy mystery

I have so enjoyed this series! The stories are well thought and the mysteries are fun to untangle.
Imogen and her new friends grow so much through the series. The mysteries are fun and we'll thought. I listen in the car and more than once drove around the block a time (or 5) to extend my listening time!
The narrator is a perfect match for these whimsical mysteries!

The editing needs to be checked.

I enjoy the story and the narrator. However throughout the readings there are long pauses, repeats of parts and in the second book there are chapters that are raed out of order.

Spells & Caramels Box Set Books 1-3

Wonderful story that kept me entertained throughout. So glad when I realized the story wasn't over - there are 7 more books in the series. Narrating was great quality with no editing issues encountered. Overall 5 stars!

Cute book set and enjoyable

I would say it took me sometime to get use to narrator. She didn’t do bad it’s just my opinion, but she had a voice I didn’t find as soothing as I like when listening. I listen to unwind and drive and such. I love the sound that is just that story teller voice at bedtime.
All in all I liked the writing from the author. I will indulge in more audiobooks if hers esp sets. Ty I appreciate this!

Hooked!

Cute story and great premise but the narrator really makes this series special. I'm hooked!

There are some sound editing snafus here and there in the second and third book and an out of order chapter in the second.

The Narrator Sounds Like a Child

The narrator sounds like a talented high school senior who is good at forensics. That's fine for some characters, but the protagonist in these stories is a grown woman who is at least in her late 20s. The narrator has no idea how to pronounce many of the words the protagonist is supposedly saying or thinking, and the mispronunciations are distracting. The narrator also has a young voice, compounding the problem. All of this adds up to an unnecessary challenge to the believability of the story. Now, the whole premise is, of course, fantastical, but these stories are squarely within the genre and don't undermine themselves, but the narrator does. It's too bad because all-in-all, the narrator is strong, and would be great reading YA fiction. For my taste, she relies way too much on accents to differentiate characters rather than developing personas in a more natural way, but if she's as young as she sounds, that's a forgivable problem. Mispronunciations are not forgivable as they are evidence of poor production as well as a neophyte reader.
