Publisher's summary

It’s been 14 years since Grayson left, clasping a sparrow pendant around Amelia's neck as a symbol of protection.

It didn’t work.

Since then, she’s moved across the country, buried her father, fallen in love with a dangerous man, lived in fear, and endured immeasurable pain.

Even still, that golden sparrow never left her neck. It was her talisman, her anchor, her light.

It gave her the strength to run. It gave her the courage to fight back. It gave her the power to demand a fresh start.

It brought her back home...and unknowingly...back to Grayson.

Military romance that will grip your heart

This book grasped my heart and squeezed. This is the story of healing power of love. Love is what can heal. Also we are all stronger than we think. Grayson is dealing with the trauma of war. Amelia has survived a war of her own, a war where love turned to hate. As they try to move forward and create the futures they deserve, they cross paths again. The love they shared as teens isn't over. And let's talk about steamy. Get ready to be obsessed with their story. I know I am. Military romance fans need to read/listen to this story. Hearing it in my headphones transported me into the story.
