So much less shy.

Since getting this book I am so much less shy and so much more confident, in control, assertive and CALM in social situations which is very very different for me!

Overcome it

Though I still often get social anxiety, I can see myself getting better, and I’m more hopeful. It goes into detail on overcoming social anxiety, shyness, and its negative effects. Many people struggle with social anxiety, but there is hope for a way out. It also talks about people-pleasing and how to cure it. This is the perfect audiobook to learn about various solutions for social anxiety. This audiobook is an incredibly fascinating and essential addition to your library, with many good, well-spoken points.

This is something that really works

Suffered from shyness and social anxiety for much of my teenage and adult life and i have tried everything from hypnosis to numerous books. This one was different. It had actual advice I could follow. Am i totally cured? No of course not, it is not that simple but i am a LOT better and feel i get better every single day. Narration was good but at times her voice could be a tad irritating.

Excellent audiobook on social anxiety and Shyness

I am a cognitive behavior therapist specializing in anxiety disorders, and I recommend this audiobook for anyone suffering from social anxiety. It has a strong emphasis on cognitive skills to help you change your thinking about anxiety. The anxiety that genuinely provides tips and talks you through anxiety without coming off as condescending.

Good ideas and methods

I feel more confident now and feel that I’m finally starting to enjoy socializing and even public speaking. The author's techniques are very effective and easy to follow. I've learned a lot from it, and it helped me cure my anxiety. Highly recommended! A very useful book, not only for social anxiety sufferers but for anyone who has a close friend or family member who suffers from anxiety. Recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with anxiety and panic attacks.

Thankful!

Thankful to have found this book - thankful because I have finally, finally, found a "cure" / solution to life long social anxiety, shyness, and low self-confidence / self-esteem.

The entire book is gold but the second half is where it really shines, with the practical advice on how to handle so many every day situations. THANK YOU.

Improved

Always seem to lack self confidence (personally I blame being bullied at school). I am always looking for ways to improve my situation and this book was one of the most useful
