Slow to start but good

It was a bit slow at first but when the pace picked up it was great. Left me wondering about the final ending. Kind let a what’s next thought

annoying accent

I'm from the same area this book is about. The story is decently good but the person reading it either has normally or used for this audio a really heavy southern drawl. instead of sounding authentic it comes across as extremely distracting and almost insulting. We don't sound like that around here. I usually listen to about a book day but the voice bothered me so much it has taken me close to a month to finish. in addition the main plot of the book was left hanging.

Great read

This was a great read. But where’s the rest of the story? Need to know the ending as to who’s the killer.

I say 5 stars would give more if I could!

As far as narration, I loved the narrator personally. She actually made her voice different for the male roles more so than I have heard others do and love it! Most just sound the same but she does sound different in those areas which help with the story.

It's sexy too! I quickly became a fan of this series after listening to this at work. I've re listened to this many times over now and love it more every time. Bought the actual book on Amazon as well. Recommend this series 10 times over!

First off, I'm Diggin' Abraham! I can't wait to read the next book! it was over too soon.

Great Book

I really enjoyed this book. Romance andaa and mystery throughout. I love all the characters but I did think Elizabeth was too undecided. It just drove my crazy. Fated mates are instantly drawn together. Even at the end she couldn’t tell Abraham that she loved him. But I’m still interested how the series ends so on to the next book.

Good story

Please tell me that is not how others believe people in the NC mountains actually sound. The accent is ridiculous.

Absolutely Wonderful

I loved the book and the second part of the series. Very well written. The voices are very good as well. I'm actually from North Carolina. Southern accents are hard to fake. I found it both funny and serious. Riveted from beginning to end.

Loved it

I loved this story and the narrator. My family is from that area in North Carolina. Loved the way the story unfolded. It had me smiling and frustrated at times right along with the characters. Can't wait to see how the other books unfold and what happens next. And ti find out who the killer is. Great story.
