The original book is great, but there are only 3 chapters available in the audio version.
It starts off promising, but there is not nearly enough information on varietals. Also, you'd think they would choose a narrator with at least very basic french knowledge, his pronunciations are not just incorrect, they're EMBARRASSING...and if someone is learning these words for the first time, they will embarrass themselves by learning from this guy.
Did not have enough of the information anyone looking to further their knowledge needs. Really just talks about buying practices and how to look like you know how to smell and taste wine.
I found this book helpful and a very pleasant listen as well. Nice amount of info without coming across as snobby.
If you really are a dummy when it comes to wines, this is the book for you. I really enjoyed it, and it gave me the basic info i want.
