He got it!! He understands why people hang on to "Stuff" and helped you realize it's just stuff. Keep the memories, and get rid of the stuff!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I'm not my stuff!

One home for everything & Like with like!!!!

If you are serious about getting organized... Listen to this book.... then go out and buy the book and follow along while you listen to it again and do the work or task. (It made me more aware of "One home for everything & Like with like"!!!!While I listen the first time, I would stop and say well what about this?? He would always say ... If you are wondering about??? I will cover it in another chapter, so the second time around - I didn't worry about "This" because I knew it was covered. He seems to have an answer for every situation. Great book!!!!

Great content, loved having the author read the book - he clearly is passionate about what he does!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Not applicable to this type book. That said, the author did tell stories to underscore his points - and they did just that. Stories are a powerful tool when you are trying to help people see and understand why they do things and to help them change.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have listened to the entire book twice and have listened to individual sections of the book numerous times - while I decluttered and organized that area of my life. Again - great book!

Any additional comments?

I made my husband listen to it on a long trip - he is all in and we are working on our place together. I have also recommended the book to family and friends who struggle with clutter.

Can't say, would have been good to have the written version, but no time to read it.

Lots of detail but upfront he tells you the key to organising everything. You can stop there or go on to pick up tips on the items; your garage, car, attic, kitchen. bedroom, office et al.

to realize how "stuff" was running me and not the other way around

Which scene was your favorite?

The chapters on office filing and digital file management, but the "closet scene" was an eye opener too, Just kidding! There are no "scenes" in the book- more like "zones" to tackle

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Well, yes... I did both. I am trying to handle an insanely busy schedule that includes home management, livestock management and a full time office. I was feeling overwhelmed, which is why this title appealed to me.

Any additional comments?

Andrew Mellen is not only "giving" good advice, he delivers on peace of mind as well. He is hands down one of the best narrators I have enjoyed.

I like the information and the way he presents it. He goes through different categories step by step, good for people like me who don't know where to start.

What does Andrew J. Mellen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Hes a great narrator and seems like he really loves what he does.

So this is what my wife has been saying...

I enjoyed the book and it brought a different perspective of everyday common sense. Simple things as everything having a home made more sense than "justb put your keys up" and like with like was a great way for anyone to find a place to start who didn't know where to begin.
