A philosopher and pioneer of the New Thought movement, James Allen (1864-1912) has become something of an icon in the self-help industry of today. Many life coaches and motivational mentors have drawn material liberally, if selectively, from his writings, and his suggestion of a straightforward path to an ideal life has made his works very popular. However, in Allen's view, a truly healthy and prosperous life is built on moral virtue.
"The Keys for a happy life"
Here is your key to a better life. James Allen's All These Things Added is a short work of immense power. This brilliant meditation reveals how to live out the Biblical precept: Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all things shall be added unto you. Allen expands this one passage into a complete philosophy of self-development and inner fulfillment. If you pursue holiness in the ordinary hours of life, he writes, you will experience untold joy and an end to personal desperation and self-doubt.
"Revelatory. A must-listen."
Although written at the turn of the century its themes are still current. From Poverty to Power is a concise and informative guide to the development of the human spirit. These two books in one: "The Path to Prosperity" and "The Way of Peace," are both inspirational and motivational!
In 1952, spiritual visionary Neville Goddard delivered a series of deeply insightful talks on how to break through your psychological dilemmas using the limitless creative powers within you. Speaking in San Francisco, the teacher laid out his mental and mystical program with complete clarity and depth. These lectures have been lost to time - until now. Margaret Ruth Broome - a trusted and longtime student of Neville's - edited and transcribed these talks from a series of personal notes.
The Way of Peace is a New Thought book written by James Allen. Although Allen is more widely known for his As a Man Thinketh, it is the lesser known The Way of Peace (1907) which reflects more accurately his New Thought Movement affiliations, referencing as it does Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism. The book is essentially a treatise on the importance of meditation as a 'pathway to divinity'.
In this audiobook James Allen makes a trenchant examination of one of the great conundrums of philosophy and religion: the problem of evil. As the author states in the foreword: All the problems of life, whether they be social, political, or religious, subsist in ignorance and wrong living. As they are solved in the heart of each individual, they will be solved in the mass of men.
"Changed my Life"
Immortal Man collects lectures from the last years of Neville's life representing the teacher in his full maturity. Available for the first time in audio, this extraordinary selection of lessons gives you a radical new understanding of your own possibilities. "The essence of Nevilles' teachings!"
Neville Goddard was one of the quietly dramatic and supremely influential teachers in the "new thought" field for many years. He spoke of God in intimate terms as though he knew God very well, which he did. He taught that instead of searching on the outside for answers to our questions, all we need to do is look within.

"An Amazing and Helpful Guide for All"

In the words of the author: "He who aspires to the attainment of the Higher Life in its completion - who would perceive with unveiled vision the true order of things and the meaning of life - let him abandon all the wrong conditions of the heart, and persevere unceasingly in the practice of good."
"Purification for your body and mind"
James Allen wrote this little book eight years after the phenomenal success of As a Man Thinketh. His forward gives an apt description of the book "We cannot alter external things, nor shape other people to our liking, nor mould the world to our wishes but we can alter internal things - our desires, passions, thoughts,- we can shape our liking to other people, and we can mould the inner world of our own mind in accordance with wisdom, and so reconcile it to the outer world of men and things.
"Will listen to this over and over."
Many students of visionary mystic Neville Goddard consider Resurrection his greatest book. First published in 1966, just six years before the master's death, Resurrection contains five powerful, practical works that describe how to use the imaging powers of your mind to remake reality. But Resurrection offers much more - the closing essay, for which the anthology is named, is one of Neville's final and most ambitious works.
"explaining the path jesus"
In this work James Allen delineates the internal pilgrimage that commences with the cultivation of faith and courage and ends in knowledge and victory. In the words of the author: "Every being lives in his own mental world. His joys and sorrows are the creations of his own mind and are dependent upon the mind for their existence. In the midst of the world, darkened with many sins and sorrows, in which the majority live, there abides another world, lighted up with shining virtues and unpolluted joy, in which the perfect ones live."

Two themes that recur very frequently in the works of James Allen are passion and purity. However, unlike many writers on moral discipline, the author regards purity as the natural state of man, which has been obscured by passionate attachment to external artefacts. Once the waves of passion are stilled, attachment falls away, allowing the seeker to attain a transcendent purity of vision and thus behold the reality that underlies the illusion of change.
