"Mark and Bob are geniuses. I've learned a lot from them and you will too!" (Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad)
I've listened to many of the excellent business titles available here and I need to say that this is the worst. It is very light on business details and heavy on the self help style. While it is very inspirational, I found it lacking in much of what I had hoped for. The authors are very religious and seem to focus more on that than on business. When the book finally did get around to discussing business strategies, they talked about some sketchy sounding ways to trick people into taking no money down on real estate, and their great internet money making scheme of sending mass email. There were some good points brought up in the book, such as how you want multiple streams of income and how to put together a good team. but overall the details were lacking in many of the important categories.
This is the biggest bunch of happy horse-hockey I've ever heard. Just a bunch of rah-rah, "believe it and it will happen", Stuart Smalley-type idiocy. Not a single piece of useful or insightful or original information. It's hard to believe it goes on so long.
This book was a great listen. I like the fact that there are a few different authors of the book, each reading parts...makes it easy to listen to. The teachings of this book are very motivational and inspire me to keep pushing towards success!
This book is delivered in two parts, a non fiction element spoken by the authors, and a modern day parable, spoken by the narrator.
The non-fiction element has excellent narration, and the affirmations and messages are really inpsiring and home-hitting, no matter how far you are on the way to being a millionaire. I cant overemphasise how good this book is to listen to!
I didn't care for the second (fiction story) element of the book - it was just too contrived and not very interesting (trying too hard to tug at the heart strings). But hey! 6 hours of excellent content out of 12 hours still makes this book an absolute bargain.
What a load of garbage. There wasn't a single useful piece of information here. It was full of pie in the sky tid bits. I felt like I was listening to a time share sales pitch!
This is a life transforming book. It goes right along with other spiritual teachings. We all deserve to be millionaires, if we are millionairs we can give more of it away, everyone wins:)!!!
A real treasure!!!
one cliche after another. Plenty of uncredited lifts from Brian Tracey, Steven Covey, Dale Carnegie. I have listened to many of these types of book, and have always wondered when I'd reach the bottom of the barrel -- well this is it. Bottom of the barrel.
YES..I would listen to it every time I need a little extra motivation!
The realization of how ANYTHING is possible when you FOCUS and BELIEVE!
NEVER GIVE UP! BELIEVE!
The methods outlined in this book are practical and easy to implement into one's. The lessons are taught two ways. As a series of principles and then a person's (fictious) stories. While the scenario in the story was ideal, it still did a great job of teaching how to apply them.
"Informative and Interesting"
There are two books in 1 with this download - one is fiction and one is non-fiction theory. I loved the fiction story and found it very inspiring towards wealth creation. I found the non-fiction useful but I must admit that I had to push myself though it. I did not find it a very easy listen.
This is why they created two seperate books as people absorb information differently.
The wealth of information in One Minute Millionaire is invaluable and I would recommend getting it.
They could have told a real life story perhaps their own
The book was a pump up. I found it to be of no real value for people trying to perfect the art of wealth building. Its more a 'Get rich quick with no hard work' hard sell.
After all the hype of this book i purchased it believing it would add value and give me some concrete tools to make some changes in my professional life.
Unfortunately I found this book to be a 'pump up' A kind of fairy tale, to the average Joe no real 'doable' steps were made obvious for climbing out of the rat race & into the wealth lane.
One half fiction, the other supposedly fact. I found the 'fact' half to be just as silly as the fiction half. If your a person of low self worth & looking for motivation & positive pump me up messages forced down your neck in a 'believe yourself rich' strategy then this books for you, however if like me your after real solid business advice aimed at budding small business owners or property developers I found this book to be a little unrealistic towards wealth building. I think these guys must have hit the caffeine hard before making this book as their hyperactive overly optimistic loud style of narration wears thin after a few minutes.
The story of the young mother who lost her kids & had to raise a million to get them back was laughable. This stuff is fairy tale, as was the goddess mentor lady she meets to guide and help her along the way..Almost like a super hero character she seems to radiate beauty, abundance,Integrity & all things nice. The whole book is based on this idea of getting rich whilst simultaneously becoming enlightened ? Come on guys. If this were true the rich wouldn't be rich, they'd all be working in charity shops & promoting world peace.. I feel this book could have benefited from some real life examples of genuine wealth building which include low as well as high elements rather than some silly fairy tale story.
This book was made to sound all to easy like taking candy from a baby & that's just not how earth spins. We need more strategy & less story telling. Maybe a bit of bio from the authors & some wealth baby steps for those of us who need a plan of action. Sorry guys , very disappointing.
Who is this guy? A lot to say about absolutely nothing. No substance, no message except "see me, hear me, love me"
