The Laws of Spirit, a parable and teaching tale, opens as Dan Millman encounters a mysterious woman sage in the wooded hills near his home. Through stories, tests, and experiences in the wild, she challenges Millman to examine twelve core principles that underlie human existence: Balance, choice, process, presence, compassion, faith, expectation, integrity, action, cycles, surrender, and unity.
The program reveals how these keys - at the heart of every religion, culture, and moral system - can lead to a deeper sense of meaning, connection, and harmony with the world and transform relationships, careers, finance, and health. Quotations and reminders from across the centuries inform and inspire listeners as they accompany Dan on his journey to wisdom.
As Millman relates, "These laws belong to each and all of us. They are found within our own hearts and at the heart of every religion, moral system, and spiritual tradition." As you make your own odyssey through this transformative tale, you will find keys to life's hidden potential and open doors to a deeper sense of meaning and connection with all of creation.

I would highly recommend this book to EVERYONE! Also anyone who is on a spiritual path to obtaining more wisdom! These LAWS are for every day life, and can help us in all areas of our journey here on earth. If we could learn to live these laws as they are presented, I believe this world would be a much better place.
Dan Millman's reading, performance, and story is outstanding! So far, I have listened to it at least 9 times! That's just how much I am moved by the content of this story and teaching. And even now, I'm starting on number 10! I would strongly recommend you getting the BOOK as well, and taking good notes until you become familiar with these Laws and are able to LIVE them in your daily life. Thank You Dan! 🌺
I have this in the printed version and have read it many times. Because I commute & I listen to audible on my drive I decided to pick up the audio version.
Dan Millman is such a professional speaker that he is indeed one of the clearest and most concise reading personalities on audible I have found.
Yes, Dan has Universal great insights on life's principels.
Maybe the cat.
As much as I love Dan's books, something about his narration bugs me. As if he is talking to children, he reads as if he is reading a children's book, that is the only thing that bothers me.
I own and read everything that Dan ever put out there, I love his material, his teachings. Just not when he is doing the reading, he should hire a really good reader. His success would simply sky rocket I swear.
