Every parent should listen to this
I love Brene. I agree with so much of what she says.
What I love most about this book, is she’s not just preaching to you about being a better parent. She shares examples from her own life that show you that she’s been on this journey too. That she didn’t always do the right things either.
She’s encouraging, authentic, and inspires me to be the parent that I want to be. She uses her research to talk about how to raise children who are wholehearted, one of the greatest gifts we could ever give our children in my opinion.
If you are a fans of Berne’s other books, this is a great audiobook that talks about how to raise your children to be wholehearted and to create a wholehearted family culture.

Me encantó
Brene Brown habla de tips básicos para cualquier papá o mamá, sobre lo que vivimos como padres, lo que nos preocupa y da ejemplos de la vida real de como afrontarlos. Ademas todo se basa en investigaciones, y habla por ejemplo de cosas que tenian en común (en sus familias) los chicos que eran mas propensos a comportamientos riesgosos y los que no.
Todo esto lo platica de una manera super ligera, facil de entender y escuchar.

Parenting in millennium age in a nutshell
It was very impactful for me with her way of getting the points across with her research. I like how I was provided with the why’s for all the points she was making. It made sense, only 2.5hrs and I felt like it was a good summation of all the parenting books I have read so far. The commonality is connection. I found myself excitingly wanted all the parents to hear this book to have a better connection with themselves and even their own parents. Thank you for writing this book.

Brené Brown kills it again
I'm not sure how she does it, truly. This mini session on the details of Parenting in this crazy news world is another home run. Brene shares and explains all of the beautiful imperfections that could happen while navigating the world of parenting in today's world of fun, fast and easy. Once again, sharing that vulnerability and bravery play a role in this life. Her explanation of each guidepost is easy to understand and comes from a place of empathy and compassion.
A must listen.

You will add dimension to your parenting skills!
What did you like best about this story?
Since Brene Brown took TEDtalks by storm, I've been following her work. I believe this is a "game-changer" for lack of a better term. We can all improve continuously, and Brene's ten guideposts are to the heart and readily accomplished. I changed my communication immediately and I thought I was pretty aware of the top parenting skills. I learned! A must listen... a "hallpass" to have made mistakes and turn relationships around without shame.
