Do you have an opportunity to use your strengths every day?
Chances are, you don't. All too often, our natural talents go untapped. From the cradle to the cubicle, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths.
To help people uncover their talents, Gallup introduced the first version of its online assessment, StrengthsFinder, in the 2001 management book Now, Discover Your Strengths. The book spent more than five years on the bestseller lists and ignited a global conversation, while StrengthsFinder helped millions discover their top five talents.
In StrengthsFinder 2.0, Gallup unveils the new and improved version of its popular assessment, language of 34 themes, and much more. While you can listen to this book in one sitting, you'll use it as a reference for decades.
Loaded with hundreds of strategies for applying your strengths, this new book and accompanying website will change the way you look at yourself - and the world around you - forever.

The narrator and descriptions of each strength are good. However, it's clear from the beginning that this book is meant to be paired with an online test that requires an access code. And guess what, the audiobook has no access code. Still, the descriptions alone are probably enough to know what one's strengths are.
I'm a great fan of StrengthsFinder, and was looking for a way to listen to the strengths while on the go. This was a great tool for that. However, I also was looking for the other parts of the book, the FAQ's and how to apply your strengths. What I listened to was just the summary of the 34 Strengths. I wish it had been explained that the other aspects of the book were not included.
The online survey is good.
The audiobook is well organized and easy to navigate.
Overall content 3 of 5.
I would say that it has great value. I am motivated to make money and when I find books that have any bits of information that will help me with my goal I get excited. I also had my kid read the book and she liked it a ton and made multiple references to the teachings and she was 10 at the time.
I like how they tell you different types of personalities and suggest what other personality or trait you should seek to partner with to create an advantageous environment.
After several years of keeping up with business books via Audible as I travel, I feel like they're begonning to run together. That probably says more about me than this selection (sorry). It's better than some, not as good as others.
My guess is, if you're streaming it someone in HR or leadership has recommended it (either that or you're new to this sort of thing). In either case it's a productive use of a flight or long drive.
This a great book to have if you looking to figure out what your strengths are. The skills test you received with purchase of the book is worth every penny. I used my results to focus on my strength when described in the book. learning the other strength described in book is also valuable. Great read!
tHANnks for making me a FIGHTER!
Must read! This helped me realize what I needed to do in order to succeed, and it wasn't what I though it would be. I was amazed. Love it.
I don't think I would try another book for Tom Rath but definitely will for David de Vries
Not true at all on the contrary I've finished 5 books with the same style
Take the test skim through the book
