I was under the impression that the Unabridged version (which is this download) was the entire book...it's not, it's only like the first chapter. I really kinda bummed but the 1st chapter was great! I can't find where to purchase the rest of the audible book...

I highly recommend this book because it offers practical wisdom to strengthen yourself. I know I will listen to it more than once!
Excellent words from Bill Johnson, but this a single teaching not a book. "Audible" labels it as "Chapter 1" but there is no other chapter. I dont see where it says it is only a teaching. There is a book by B. Johnson called "Strengthen youself in The Lord", this is not it.
I love the message. It found me at a time when I needed to be encouraged. One of the hardest things for me is pull myself out of a low place. My best defense has been to not allow myself to get there. However in those time when I do drop off in the hole, how do I get out? Bill covers practical simple wisdom that spoke to that weak place inside of me and confirmed the truth of God's written Word...it can not and will not fail.
Awesome powerful life changing truth. This teaching is so needful for imparting new revelation and confirming those practices that are already part of my arsenal.
"Helpful, but could have gone further"
Maybe. I chose it because I can listen to it while getting ready or washing up.
I did find this a helpful book and it was not expensive so maybe I was expecting too much, but I did feel there could have been more. It is a good start or introduction, and certainly worth listening to if you don't have a lot of time.
