Popular psychic medium Rebecca Rosen’s fresh and hip prescriptive program empowers readers to heighten their intuition, connect with deceased loved ones, and surpass the psychological roadblocks holding them back. In Spirited, listeners learn how to dig into their past to identify the root of the “damage” that’s keeping them from living their best lives.
Medium-to-the-stars Rebecca Rosen shows us how to draw on the power of our intuitive gifts to connect with spirit energy—loved ones who have passed—to provide the clarity necessary to master real-life issues, including relationships, job fulfillment, finances, and body image. In her colorful and youthfully vibrant voice, Rosen recalls how she discovered her psychic gifts and recounts her experiences helping thousands of clients, including Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox Arquette. She reveals how she taps into a person’s energy and relies on the spirits around him or her to gain insight, and explains how—through exercises, meditations, and her special guidance—we can develop similar skills to interpret the signs in our own lives and find success and contentment.
Direct, down-to-earth, and sometimes sassy, Rebecca Rosen offers a unique and refreshing blend of self-help wisdom and psychic insight to help us look back and move forward.

I didn't get very much out of the book, being that I am well read in this arena (spiritual/new age). But, I probably would have taken it a lot more seriously had the author not been the narrator. I felt like I was being taught and read to by a high school cheerleader or better yet, Reese Witherspoon's portrayal of Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde."
I don't know why so many authors insist on narrating their own books (unless you're Brene Brown, Shonda Rhimes, or....Oprah!!). This isn't the only book I've listened to where the narrator/author killed it for me. Hire a professional!!!
Rebecca's voice isn't too animated or too monotone, it's the goldilocks of voices. Very personal, relatable and easy to listen to. Her book gives you solid life advice that is easily digestible and motivates you to live your best life but is non-denominational and grounded.
I love her re-caps and her pauses and explanations. It's almost like she knows we need more clarification.
I have read a vast amount of life after death and the paranormal books. Rebecca presents an easy to follow journey into what a medium does and how she experiences her gift. There was nothing new for me but the book contains a wealth of information if you are new the field. It also is a very pleasant read plus she gives you tools to work with. A great read.
I am sorry. I can't stand listening to someone chat on and on about themselves for too long. Get to the point already.
Cut out more of the sentimental feel good fluff, enough with the convince me it's real gab, and enough talking about herself. I thought I was buying a book for me, not for an autobiography. I don't know why authors of this kind of material have to spend a quarter of the book building up the premise saying, "I know what you're thinking" I didn't believe it either. Seriously. Now days it's not weird or strange as it once was to talk about this stuff. So stop wasting my time trying to convince me.
The ingratiating, goody goody tone.
The whole book
Learning Spirit lessons
I liked how the author used here experiences and those of her clients (anonymous) to explain things in a context that everyone can understand and pick up.
Rebecca did a great job differentiating the characters so the reader/listener could understand, by breaking the stories into individual lessons/sections.
I had an extreme reaction to this book several times, shedding tears while relating to the power of how she and others can relate to the Spirit world.
Overall, I thought the book was great, and an excellent introduction into what God/Source/Universe and Spirits expects from us, and how we should relate to and act with them. I would recommend this book to others who are interested in learning the subject matter. Although, some listeners stated that she should not have narrated her own book. I found her voice pleasant and her stories enlightening!
Speaks to my soul on many levels, reiteration and confirmation of so many things my soul already knows woven with wonderful guidance to grow my knowledge and intuition that I yearn for.
Rebecca tells so many stories that tug at my heart strings and deepen my level of belief. My favorite might be her story of meeting "Ryan and the Rose".
I will relisten to this book repeatedly as I know it has multiple lessons for me to hear and gain from. As I open my heart to what the universe is compelled to teach me and for me to learn while my conseptuality and ability to broaden my perspective grows, this book will continue to have more and more to offer me.
Keep your mind and heart open. The universe has so much to offer.
I listen to spirtual books as much as possible and this is one of the great ones, I think! This is a wonderful and insightful guide, and I got alot out of it. I'm going to listen to it again, because when I really like something, I like to listen to it more than once so I don't miss anything! I think she did a great job and really broke things down with patience and piece by piece so it's understanding. Great job Rebecca and Samantha, and Thank You!
We are all faced with daily challenges for which we would benefit from help from Spirit. Rebecca gives true to life examples as well as practical advise on how to get us out of our own way and allow Spirit guidance and trust to fill in. Her examples were spot on and I found myself saying, "yes, wow, that's exactly me".
I love listening to the books here.
