If you're only wanting to start small with a rental house or 2, this book is overkill. If you're going big for apt complexes and having partners etc, it's all you.
everything was was focused on massive 100 + doors
not much info on doing duplex or quadlex
it basically does a great job detailing a sure way to make money from buying multiple rental units. I was expecting more in the buying and selling and or single unit rentals
This book is brilliant. The practical information and application there of is exactly what I was looking for concerning how to properly manage investment real estate. The way Mr. McElroy breaks down processes and provides Real world scenarios was a huge help. His strong emphasis on doing right by your tenants, having integrity and following your management rules to a T where some of the best parts of the book. If you're even considering investing in real estate you need to read this book.
The author gives specific instructions that don't include being a dirt bag. There is a ton of information, the performance is great and easy to listen to.
great general analysis for investing in properties. great for pre- investor like myself. however wish I had the visuals when referring to charts and figures.
details of how to invest in multi family rental that were easy to understand and use. gets more into commercial side than residential property
