"Raymond Todd's reading is a big reason the audio will appeal to men at all levels of spirituality. He's a humble narrator who is both confident in the author's teachings and respectful of his audience. Along with the can-do tone of the writing, Todd's warmth and steadiness make this a memorable lesson." (AudioFile)
Besides the God breathed "manual" for fathers this is on the top of the list that all Dads should read. The advice Steve gives are still so relevant today.
I like that the author doesn't hold back when it comes to calling out society and today's man. I learned a lot of good skills that I can put to use in day to day life as I continue to try to improve my leadership as a Christian father, husband and servant of God.
As a woman who is not yet married, I wanted to read a book that talks about what I should be looking for in a husband and Christian leader. This book was amazing! I now know exactly what I need to be striving to find in a future husband, to lead my future family and I. With Christ as the focal point and my husband as my second authority, I know that my family will most thrive when my husband is a spiritual leader founded like a rock in the Lord.
my eyes were open and I found a new reality and what it is I have been missing for the majority of my life thus far. Now I can build upon a new beginning with the understanding of how to become a rock for Jesus.
Great Book on being a spiritual leader.
I am glad I read it.
I will be tell our men's Bible study group about it.
Very faith-affirming and thought-provoking-- also inspiring. Will inspire you to be a better man for your wife and kids' sake.
If your a man, read this book, it can change your life! God created men with unique duties and responsibilities that are powerful and have lasting generational impact, which done right promote Jesus loving/following healthy responsible children and when done wrong do just the opposite.
If your a man read this book it can change your life!
An entertaining and powerful book with straightforward points that any father can apply to be more effective for his family and for Christ.
