Great content but...

I really enjoyed the original content. The editorial annotations were very distracting and most of the time added no new insight. I don't get why the editor thought it was necessary. More than half the time, it seemed, the annotation segments were verbatim repetition of the points brought out.

Life changer

Amazing book. Very easy to read, and very easy to understand. Now-a-days, “self help” books are just filled with fluff, or pitches to read their next book, etc. - not this book. It breaks down easily what we do wrong as men, women, and society, and mostly, how to reverse these things. I think this book is a must read for every human being.

Best Book of All Time

Tbh this book has it all.. Good to re apply at different times in life. Recommend for anyone going through adversity or finding their purpose.

Life Changing

I have never left a book review in my life. But I simply can not recommend this book enough. It will make your mindset absolutely bulletproof and motivate you beyond what you thought a book could do. I feel honored to have read this book.

I listened to the audio book and absolutely loved it! I will be buying the actual book to be able to go back to it again.

Interesting, weird personal development book

Interesting personal development book done through an adversarial conversation.

The allegory of the devil is really goofy, though and doesn’t work when it tries to hint at a philosophy that’s not fully developed. The old woman narrator is terribly annoying and unnecessary as well.

I do like the approach of negative motivation, or showing how easy you can fail as opposed to just feel good messages.

Overall, a worthwhile read if you’re interested in the genre or a different take.

If you’re someone who is too logical or can’t get past certain things, you’re better off skipping this.

Pure gold

This is one of the most impressive books I’ve ever read. Considering its age, this is way ahead of its time. Napoleon Hill is the best.
