Easwaran has a magnificient capability to get hold of its audience. His sense of humor intensifies the impact of his messages. It is one of the best talks I listened to about meditation for beginners...both informative and inspiring at the same time . Although he repeats himself in a couple of instances that again has a strengthening effect on his messages.
This book is exactly what it claims to be, a practical guide to meditation. Additionally, Easwaran's voice and delivery are so charming to me that I have bought other titles just to listen to him speak. It has been very useful to my practice.
I didn't get as much as I expected with this lecture/book. I will most likely purchase another book on meditation instead.
