Making this shift is a necessity in order to live a peaceful, fulfilling life aligned with your divine calling. In this deeply engaging live seminar, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explains that, instead of heeding the demands of the ego, which keep you mired in self-sabotage through never-ending pleas and false promises, you can choose to move in a new direction—one that leaves the false self behind so you can reclaim your true nature. The ego has driven many of us away from our authentic selves. In Making the Shift, Wayne reveals how we can make that all-important U-turn and head back to the Source of being that created us.

"Just when I thought I've heard it all...."

I've listened to numerous lectures by Dr. Dyer. He's helped me tremendously. Just when I thought that I squeezed all I could out of his teachings, I was surprised that I learned some new stuff here. Dr. Dyer's lectures never disappoint! Highly recommended.

I'm 40 something female and like to escape into a book. I listen in the car and like a story that either business related or pure escapism.

    "Very helpful"

Wayne Dyer's erroneous zones was the first book I picked up in the 1980's when life turned pear shaped for me. having him talk to me in my car daily has not only relaxed me but opened up unexpected possibilities. It's not rocket science but his voice is calming and that can only be positive to my concentration, my inner peace and my outlook on life. I recommend this book if you wish to be challenged to do better in your life.

I loved the movie The Shift, and enjoyed this audio very much.
I had as many “laugh out loud” moments as I did “ah ha” moments.
    Highly recommended.

    "Fan of Dyer"

I am really a big fan of Dyer. He had helped me in so many ways that no one can understand. He is my guru, my friend, my master. I know that he is a little bit arrogant (even he does not think he is) and egotistic (sorry Wayne, you are human) but I love him anyway. I am giving him four stars for this book just for the reasons I told you before, however after having reading and hearing a lot of his material, this one does not say anything new. Just maybe the news about his cancer, the end of his marriage, and the stuff about eating sugar, but everything else was Dyer all over again. The same stories, funny though, but nothing new. If you are a huge fan of Dyer, like me, you can forgive that, but if you are not, you better buy Excuses be gone (a great book).

    "Great Wayne Dyer Material"

Loved this audio lecture. Wayne has such great material and while it covers much of what he has said before it is still awesome and inspiring.
Sometimes hearing the same information from a different angle can make all the difference.
Well worth the listen. I will be listening to it again. Thanks Wayne!

    "AWESOME!!!!!!"

I have used this Audio in conjunction with the audio presentation Change Your Thoughts Change you Life. The 10hrs + of audio presentation takes the Shift in your life to the very present moment. I highly recommend both audio's and to be used not just as a one of listen. The quality of the presentation is excellent. Money well spent.

    "Sugar Knowledge Value"
If you could sum up Making the Shift in three words, what would they be?

    Awareness & Alignment Aid

What was one of the most memorable moments of Making the Shift?

The chapters that spoke to this compulsive eater were acutely inspiring and useful.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The chapter on sugar would be a nugget to someone who hadn't been exposed to this knowledge already and was in the right place to receive the help. I knew of the sugar detriment and found the hearing a good reminder and reinforcer of my understanding.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some parts were so in alighment with my journey it was profuoud. I accepted it for its reality of me being in the exact right spot of awareness to receive it gratefully.

    Any additional comments?

The parts that I found non-useful are simply that way for me and are my story of them. I wasn't ready to receive them at this time. I don't reject them and know that they are right for another. I know this because they are in the reading.

    "First Class Dyer!"

I found this latest offering from Wayne Dyer, interesting, engaging and a joy to listen to. Being a fan of his work, Making the Shift did not disappoint.

It is NOT a rehash of Excuses Begone. Certainly there are many references to previous material, and he spends a short time going over the Excuses Begone paradigm. However, the bulk of the program is about Making the Shift from ambition to meaning in your life, and giving clear advice on how to do that. It's not where you are in your life that matters, it's what direction you're going, and that is profoundly important.

I thought the real icing on the cake, however, was the final hour of the recording, where he spends a bit of time on his up and coming book, Wishes Fulfilled. This was mind blowing stuff, and have listened to this part several times, each time gleaning more meaning from it.

All in all highly entertaining and recommended :)

    "A Great Book"

I've been reading Wayne Dyer books for many years, I've seen how his journey has changed his life over the years. This book, 'The Shift' is one book that everyone should read. It's time to make changes in ones life & Wayne Dyer talks you through this. I know his other books has talked about making changes in your own life...somehow this book is different. While listening to 'Making The Shift' I started to think differently & to understand the concepts in this book. There's a DVD titled 'The Shift' which is a fantastic movie & one to add to your list that goes along with the contents of the book. Wayne Dyer stars in this movie & he talks about making the shift. Buy this book & listen, you will not be disappointed.

'The Shift' is rehash of 'Excuses begone' - a rambling and disappointing performance. There is nothing new or inspiring in this recording....

"An Amazing Book from an Inspiring Man"

There are lots of self help, development, spiritual guidance books out there but there is nothing to compare to this. Dr.Wayne Dyer is truly a guide with incredible passion and honest. What is he guiding us on? The power to take charge of your existence and realize what life is really about. I loved this book and I will be listening to more from Dr.Dyer. Happy listening.
