I listened to this at night (bad idea--it "wakes you at the end, and boy, was I awake!) and the very next day I had much less of an appetite, and wanted smaller portions of healthy foods. Maybe this is just me, but this has been unbelieveably great! I've listened to it around 5 times in the last two weeks, and have lost 5 lbs without effort. I have about 20 more lbs to go, and I'm optimistic that they will just disappear. What a great listen!
I have struggled a long time with trying to stick to Weight Watchers. Since listening to this tape at night, I don't have any problems and have lost weight. I only wish they would give instructions on how to effectively use the hypnosis. I spoke with a hypnotherapist who said to listen to it every night for 21 days and then once a week after that. More often if you fell the need.
I lost 5 pounds in 3 days. I'm not hungry or grumpy. People have been eating donuts and brownies around me and I have NO interest! Need I say more?
This book really works, I really enjoyed the Author, he really can make you relax and help you on the road to eating properly, I listen to him a t least twice a month.
Just stunning how well this is working. I also use it when I want a quick nap. :D Never fails that I wake up refreshed and raring to go - which is weird as it's a 'loose weight' hypnosis. I would love to know what's in the subliminal messaging, because I turned down chocolate, and it shocked me when I realized it. :D
Like others, I was doubtful that I would fall into a hypnotic state. With my headphones on as I laid in bed, I began listening to the program. The last thing I remember was the author counting to three. The next thing that happened was that I woke up to music. I have no idea what was said.
I would recommend that if you listen to this just before going to bed; make sure that your player is not set for continuous play. I got hypnotized three times before I took the headphones off because I kept getting re-awakened after each program.
This was the third weight loss hypnosis I bought, and it's the only one I use now. I have completely changed my eating and exercise habits. I've lost weight without fad dieting or starving. I listen every night now when I go to bed.

I have lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks listening to this book, 8 pounds the first week. After the very first time I listened to it, on a Saturday morning, for the rest of the day I had no cravings for sugar, soda, candy, chocolate, etc.---amazing! I used to drink a 20 oz. Coke every day, more on the weekends. I haven't touched a drop of soda in 2 weeks and haven't had any cravings for it. I used to eat a bowl of ice cream about every other day. I haven't had a spoonful in 2 weeks and don't crave it. I can look at foods I used to crave and turn them down now. I did eat a Turtle last week......but that's the point, I ate 1 whereas ordinarily I would have eaten 4 or 5 and craved more. I wasn't craving it, I made a decision to eat 1 as a dessert and I stopped at 1. Let me tell you I must have taken 10 itty bitty bites out of a 1" diameter Turtle :) I use the book twice a week, each Saturday and Sunday morning and it's working just fabulously. I'm eating healthier and slower and am exercising more. I intend to lose 100 pounds using this book. I'll post again when I reach my goal. Love the speaker! Love the book!
A great hypnosis recording except that it sounds like you're being hypnotized by Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've been to a hypnotherapist before and this recording is very similiar and definitely elicits the proper response (for me). As for losing weight, we'll see. The relaxation is so powerful, I sort of don't care about that aspect so much anymore. It'll be a bonus if it happens.
"Lose Weight Now"
Early days yet, I have only listened to the CD twice, but I am very impressed with this recording. I no longer want anything sweet, I simply cannot even look at a cake, biscuit or chocolate. Also I am constantly aware that fatty things do not appeal to me; If I am hungry between meals, I reach for a glass of water and it satifies me until my meal. Try it, you have nothing to lose except weight!
"Amazing and brilliant"
I really was sceptical that this could change the way I eat and help me to lose weight, but I'm definitely a believer now. After just the first time of listening to the recording I no longer had food cravings for all the usual junk foods high in sugar and fats. I no longer snack between meals and do not even have the urge to. I really do feel healthier after just two weeks; it really is amazing!!
"This audio book works"
I have only used this audio book twice....as it worked first time. I bought the book about 6 weeks ago after hearing the author / narrator in an interview. I liked his voice. He sounded very down to earth. I looked into his publications on Audible. The titles were all bold and specific. I bought this as I thought to myself, 'what have I to lose for a few pennies - the price of a magazine'....and hey presto, the first time I listened, I changed my eating habits, like that. I listened a few days later to the second half (there are 2 different hypnosises within the 1 hr recording) and I havent looked back since. I have lost nearly 5 kilos in 6 weeks and it has been easy. In fact I havent even been aware that I am doing it. At the same time as I bought this book, I switched to a healthy eating programme so Im not sure which has been the cause of my new found determinism but I have lost weight and I do not feel as if I am on a diet nor do I feel deprived so I'd like to shake Glen Harrold's hand - a cyber shake of course.
I was skeptical too. I don't make a good hypnosis subject as I am quite resistant. But this tape has really helped me rev up my motivation, and seems to be really working. Relaxing too.
Excellent download for relaxing. Not entirely convinced that it leads to weight loss but still very enjoyable.
This was a first time experience for me and I was leasantly surprised to find it both relaxing and motivating on first hearing. I did however, want to go back to my old habits quite quickly and needed to listen again. I think if I listen to this regularly it will definately help. Even if it does not it is a very relaxing experience.
Not sure but I think I am picking different food and eat less. I also fall asleep after 5 min only.
