There are times in your life when everything clicks. When your skills match your challenges. When you feel most fully alive.
This is what experts call the flow state. It's a zone of optimal learning, of calm intensity, of nearly effortless mastery in all your endeavors.

Yes. Many times. And then some. So that I can internalize the many gems found in the audio.
The nine part breathing technique was absolutely amazing. Simple yet powerful. Blew me away.
There were many moments that particularly moved me. The most striking one for me was the emphasis on keeping the practice short and enjoyable.
This audiobook is a real gem. I feel honored to be the first one to review it. While listening to it, I kept having aha moments after aha moments.
This audio does not merely deserve five stars. If I could, I would give it seven stars or nine stars or even more.
Many practical techniques for developing and training the attention are covered.
The most important thing I found was the practical wisdom in applying the techniques. For instance:
1. The emphasis on making the practice enjoyable, especially in the beginning.
2. The detailed explanation of "why", not just the "how".
3. Recognizing that people will have different inclinations and encouraging them to pick the techniques that they find suitable.
On the whole, I would absolutely encourage anyone interested in developing or training mindfulness, concentration, focus or attention to get try this one.
I wholeheartedly recommend it.
"Urgently requires a re-record"
In part there are some very good tips in this book, but you have to wade through the entire book before you are given the useful information right at the end in the the last chapters.
The book at times felt like a hypnosis session with the slow monologue voice from Michelle, so what could be quite a good book was a chore to get through.
Also what also annoyed me was the fact that they kept referring to the tapes that you are listening to I.E on the next tape , on the other side of the tape later on the tape, it is 2016 so please re-record this book and stop referring to the tapes and do it with someone else's voice and then it would be a good book
This book is worth the time given to it, if you can get over Michelle's voice and stay awake, given that the book is called Focus that voice does not do much to help you...
