This was my very first "Hypnosis" audio (or anything Hypnosis related, for that matter) and it was amazing!!!! I'm fortunate to have a dedicated spa area in my home, with a massage table, etc, so was able to completely shut down and relax. I have never been hypnotized before, so wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't asleep nor awake, just zoned out.
Erick Brown has a great, soothing voice and was the perfect narrator.
I'm not sure about the weight loss, etc, as this was my first session, but I "awoke" feeling totally energized and calm. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, just the normal 10 pounds, or so, but I think just taking a moment for myself, out of the hectic schedule to meditate like this will be a big help in losing the extra weight!
I'm hooked and have just bought another of his audios:)
PS. Another review wrote a negative review and I thought I should clear up the confusion. She mentions this is an "Anxiety" session. It is not... possibly she did not listen long enough. It goes through a relaxation/anxiety reducing stage, which is the hypnosis stage, THEN, he introduces the weight loss encouragements. At that point, you should be "under" and receptive to suggestions. Personally, I was excited about going through that stage, as I have much stress in my life (who doesn't these days LOL) and welcomed that portion of the audio:)
I've been listening for a week and have lost 6lbs in 6days. I have gone from craving pizza and ice cream to lean proteins and veggies. I wake up every morning with an epic desire to exercise. That said, its 6am and I'm off to yoga!

I've been listening to this for the past 5 nights (and a few afternoons, I must say) and I'm so glad I got it! I never would have thought that I would be one to enjoy hypnosis type material...but it's working! So far I've lost 2 lbs without really thinking about it...
I've never heard this speaker but his voice makes it really easy to listen to (and fall asleep, also)...
I'm not sure how subliminal material works (or if it is, infact, working on me), but I have lost a few pounds without really thinking about it...Food hasn't been on my mind like it normally is...

I have several of these audio books and this one is really good-will go back to it. (probably the best one so far.)
I liked that the two tracks were very relaxing, the first one reminded me of yoga class when the teacher leads you thru corpse pose and relaxing each area of the body until your body is heavy, and your mind can calm itself.
I did not lose any weight, I did notice I wanted to buy more fitness things and use them, but for my experience- I actually gained weight.
Yes, its just a funny thought of a theater of people falling asleep to listen to messages delivered to their subconscience.
I liked his voice, but if you wake up during the later tracks, it is almost frightening. There is an echoing affect added to his voice, and an unusual rhythem added to the sea sounds. Its relaxing if you remain asleep/hypnotized, but really strange sounding if you wake up.
First, let me say that I really did enjoy the narrators voice. BUT the pauses were sooo long! I kept thinking that my phone was shutting off. After five days of TRYING really hard to lusten, I just gave up.
I tried this meditation out several times because initially I thought it was my imagination that I was having such an adverse reaction but I found that it made me more emotional and more self-critical in regards to weight or body issues. I think the wording of 'this must stop' is somehow too critical. I found therefore that I became more self-critical and self-loathing of my body and more emotional in relation to my body which was more likely then to trigger emotional eating than help support my healthy eating and exercise regime.

Try not scaring the crap out of the client 40 min before the end.. Bells and spooky voice woke me from a sound sleep and about made me wet myself.
Hypnosis is narrowing focus and bypassing the critical factors of the conscious mind, not boring your clients to sleep. It is also essential to state direct commands in positive present terms the way you make affirmations. Instead, the last thing you hear before your brain wanders off to sleep, is how your current weight is dragging you down...not the stuff you want programmed in. Idk where this guy got "certified" or who did it, but he should go back to programming computers, not people.

This made a huge change in my eating habits. I have dieted all my life. I now feel I am in control and have started to loose , 3 stone I need to shed. I love all the chapters.

I love Erik Brown and I have bought a lot of his Hypnosis books, they've helped me through everything and this was the final stage that I brought.
The ONLY thing that ruins it is the final chapters, when you're asleep they wake you up as they are almost like a nightmare! the other chapters are really relaxing but this one sounds as though the book is possessed!

I think that the Audible ap should allow you to sleep after certain chapters so you can skip the final chapters!
