I enjoy listening to Joel he really helps me to fall asleep. he makes a minor error in his narration that drive me crazy but I've gotten used to it so when he says "learn what you used" instead of use what you learn, I can get past it now. I just wish that that was not in there otherwise it's flawless and very helpful.
Not really. I think there are probably better books of this sort. What slightly annoyed me about this, is that although there are 4 different hypnosis' the introduction, the part that puts you to sleep is exactly the same for each one. Although this isn't the worst crime ever, it made it difficult for me to get past the idea that Joel couldn't be bothered. Particularly as he makes a mistake which is repeated on each hypnosis.

He didn't particularly. These things are very much a personal taste, and he wouldn't have been my first choice, but his voice is pretty relaxing.
I don't blame the book for this, but i've not had any lucid dreams since listening to the audio and if i woke up when the audio tracks were playing i was usually having slightly anxious dreams.
