From his appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show to his roster of celebrity clients to his reality television series, Cesar Millan is America's most sought-after dog-behavior expert. But Cesar is not a trainer in the traditional sense; his expertise lies in his unique ability to comprehend dog psychology. Tracing his own amazing journey from a clay-walled farm in Mexico to the celebrity palaces of Los Angeles, Cesar recounts how he learned what makes dogs tick. In Cesar;s Way, he shares this wisdom, laying the groundwork for you to have stronger, more satisfying relationships with your canine companions.
Cesar's formula for a contented and balanced dog seems impossibly simple: exercise, discipline, and affection, in that order. Taking readers through the basics of dog psychology and behavior, Cesar shares the inside details of some of his most fascinating cases, using them to illustrate how common behavior issues develop and, more important, how they can be corrected.
Whether you're having issues with your dog or just want to make a good bond even stronger, this audiobook will give you a deeper appreciation of how your dog sees the world, and it will help make your relationship with your beloved pet a richer and more rewarding one.

I was a little worried when I purchased this book, seeing that it is narrated by Cesar himself. Cesar has a somewhat heavy Latin accent and I was worried that his narration might be difficult to understand. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Cesar's narration was clear and easily understood. It was obvious that he took extra care when narrating this selection. It was wonderful to listen, not only to his interesting philosophies about dog psychology, but to his colorful personal history. I felt that my credit was well spent on this book. Whether you agree or disagree with Cesar's methods, you must respect him for overcoming adversity and establishing himself as a respected behaviorist in such a relativly short period of time. He is truly an inspiring man with a wonderful story to tell.
This was a very interesting book. There was a lot of background given into how Cesar acquired his knowledge giving him even more credibility. He took the time to explain that others have criticized some of his techniques but he defended his beliefs very well. I really enjoyed this book.
Life is too short to waste on bad authors.
He tells about where he started from and how he got to America. . how he inherited his love for dogs from his grandfather.
Getting to know him.
Hearing his story through his own lips rather than another narrator.
There were a few spots where the audio skipped or stuttered.
This was a good book about Cesar's methods & how he developed them but it isn't a guidebook. I did find the information relevant and I'll be reading another one of his books on training technique.
This seems to be a name dropping drill to prove how all of Hollywood has embraced Ceasar. Good for you. What I was hoping for was a little information on dogs.
I was very turned off by the comments regarding coming to this country illegally, "and proud of it".
I am sorry I spent the money on this book.
