This is a great book!

I enjoyed this book a lot and learned much from it. I totally reccomend it!

much-needed information

the whole book was excellent. very useful the last chapter. audiobook is just what I needed. suggest to readers with audiobook jump to last chapter. then go through the entire book. you'll get much-needed rules right away and understand the book a little more. again excellent training. I've got a German shepherd pound puppy that's 2 years old and 65 lb. little hard to handle but we have a labrador that's been with us for a number of years and she's helping her out. thanks Cesar!

good book

hard to get my interest at first but turned out to be a very good book. definitely worth listening too

pack leader

This is a great book because it explains the importance of being a pack leader even if you only have one dog. I have a 8 month old German Shepherd and if I had not learned to be a pack leader she would be running the house instead. some dogs it may not matter as much but with a Shepard I think it always does.

Fabulous book.

I'm not reading his books in sequence. However each book gives me another little piece of the puzzle. On my way to my dog's best life.

Great for new or long time dog owners

Cesar's way is more of a dog philosophy book than a dog training book. That being said, it should be the starting place for any potential or new dog owner. Long time dog owners will also learn plenty and perhaps transform their relationship with their dog.

Great Dog Book

Millan offers sensible, practical advice for dog-owners. The basic message I got out of this book is that dogs respond best to a balanced, assertive leader who can provide a structured and orderly environment, and the book provides lots of insight on how to accomplish this. By controling the kind of "energy" you present to your dog, and giving the correct amounts of exercise, discipline and affection you can solve many problems.

I have a 2 year old lab-pyrenees cross with a LOT of energy. Since reading this book and applying much of the advice I have noticed significant improvements in his leash and off-leash walking behaviour, jumping, whining and yard escapes.

I highly recommend this book to all dog owners (current or potential).
