Publisher's summary

Do you want to really understand the warnings in John’s letters to the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation? If so, then you must read this book. John’s letters to the seven churches warn all to pay attention to events and to listen to what the Spirit tells them. The admonishment, ‘He that hath an ear pay attention to what’s happening’ was repeated in each of the seven letters. This admonishment was not addressed to the ‘seven’ churches.’ It was addressed seven times to ‘all’ churches; especially today’s churches. At this time, and to those ancient churches; what are our greatest warnings from God in the Book of Revelation to watch and to understand what’s happening around us. Three things were emphasized over and over: First, to hold fast to our faith in Christ. Second, to be aware of that Jezebel who will lead many astray. Third, to avoid sexual immorality and fornication. These three were emphasized over and over to ‘all’ churches. Christ’s words introduced us to that woman, Jezebel, as being in the church at Thyatira; but He didn’t say who she was, and He didn’t say she was not in other churches. Later, in Chapter 17, He showed us exactly who that Jezebel, religion, is. It’s clearly the Islamic religion “drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.” That description could not be more clear and definitive. This woman, this religion, didn’t exist until seven hundred years after the letters were written to the seven churches. There would have been no way for those in the seven churches at that time to interpret what the letters mean today. The letters were warnings of future events that would occur. We were warned not to be seduced by that ‘prophetess.’ Those who fall into her trap, or blindly turn aside and accept her ways, will be denied their salvation with God. That’s why the Seven Spirits of God are within us; for power to defeat that great Beast led by Satan. And, we were warned to refrain from sexual immorality and fornication. In this warning, He spoke to individuals, churches, and nations as shown in Leviticus 18:24, “Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you.” This book also answers many other questions and mysteries in those seven letters. For example, the source of the words Nicolaitanes, Balaam, and Balac are identified and explained; and how they apply to today’s events. The children of Israel suffered God’s wrath for many generations when He cast them out of their land when they turned against his Word. Should we in the United States, or any other part of the world, consider ourselves safe from His wrath and His promises just because we are more important, more worldly and more sophisticated than were the ancient Jews?
