Sean believes Phantom, an obsessed hacker who previously outwitted the top minds in the field, is behind the attack, and Sean needs this witness's help, as she's the person who has come closest to discovering Phantom's identity.

Trouble is, she's a witness under the care of US Marshal Taylor Mills, and Sean is reluctant to work with the captivating marshal who knows his deepest secrets. But Phantom claims he knows where the witness is hiding and will kill her, so to stop the hacker, Sean and Taylor must work through their personal pain and learn to trust each other....

nice twist

good story with surprise ending. this is the first book I've listened to by this author and I really liked it. I had good information kept my attention the whole time and had a nice surprise ending which I like in these kind of books.

I'll definitely listen to another one and the narrator did a fantastic job

Good Story - Narrator not so good

The story is good but the narrator tried to hard to change her tone and it was annoying

Suspenseful

This book really kept me going. I did not want to stop, but instead at the end of each chapter found myself continuing on. I cannot imagine what it would be like to think I was safe and then find out otherwise or to be the ones trying to get it all under control. The agents have to work together and with one of the witnesses to try to find the hacker and get the information back under wraps. I am anticipating to see what happens next in this series.

No Sex Just a great story

I am so glad I found an author who can write a good story without having to fill up space with unnecessary sexual material

Great story but buy the book, narrator not great

The story is great and Susan is one of my favorite authors. I have all of her audiobooks and enjoy them. This one departed from her typical narrator. The narrator for this audiobook rendered the women’s voices deep and the men’s nasally. It was so destruction that I gave up and ordered the book instead. I miss the previous narrator used for the Cold Harbor and White Knights series.

Douglas Sabattis

Enjoyed the book storyline Character development. Also twist with female criminal. Only thing the Narrator was not quite right on with emotion. Trust was big issue. That and forgiveness.
I would like Dusty make the decision to accept Christ.

Too much drama

A really good story by S. Sleeman, however it was tempered by the overdramatizing of when someone wasn’t totally honest because of their difficult pasts. How “Shawn” couldn’t get over that “Taylor” had lied about a small issue of whether she’d had anything to do with her brother’s suicide or not. GHASTLY! END OF RELATIONSHIP! TRUST ALL GONE! Aaaaaaaugh!!!! Of course she couldn’t admit it all immediately....Not a deal breaker or a relationship- ending lie. There were other dramas as well that were overdone. Also, I still don’t know how they ended up in love because during the entire book one was always trampling on the others feelings and there was very little positive interaction between them. Not sure how love comes out of that. However the story was still a decent listen. Also with the narrator- my only beef was that I don’t like when female narrators lower their voices to sound manly- and she took it a step further and lowered/changed her tone for the main female character too. Just my personal preference I’m sure...
