Another Hit by Mark

What made the experience of listening to Zombie Fallout 7: For The Fallen the most enjoyable?

The humor has allows been a good mix with the Zombie Apoc and Mike, his family, and BT are just awesome.

Which character – as performed by Sean Runnette – was your favorite?

I gotta say Trip is AWESOME. That Stoner is just hilarious and to have him come back after his safe arrival to his wife in the last book, I honestly didnt think I'd see him again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I just like to remember how Mike is so messed up in the beginning. When Ron wouldn't give him the gattling gun, he deliberately damages the front fender. I found that hilarious. Wasnt a moment that moved me, but it was very memorable to me. And of course the Gold coins.

Any additional comments?

One thing to note. For all you careful listeners, I wish to know if you noticed it too. Is the Dennis in this book the same one that died of some disease in one of Mikes flashbacks. I believe it was the one where Mike, Paul and Dennis go to a concert and get hammered for several days. At the end of the flashback, Mike notes that they never had a get together like that concert and Dennis died of diabetes or something. Or am I remembering wrong?

Just passing through another year of Mike's Life

Again with the short stories…..
The end has another one of those 60 minute short stories about Mike’s life.
If you can call 60 minutes "short". More like a Novella.
Creating new villains and adding a whole new element to the zombie apocalypse is a daunting task, but Mark Tufo is up for it.
Again, a great book.
The only issue I have, is now Mark knows this is his meal ticket.
Starting around ZF3 he stops giving us “endings”.
This book is more so, then the others.
I feel like I just watched a season of Walking Dead.
The past few books have been more-and-more like this. Like you were dropped into the middle of something, and then leave before it ends.
I guess we have to wait for ZF8-20 to find out.
Keep writing these, but try to keep the short stories to under 15 minutes... or under 50 pages. We got enough of Mikes Past life in ZF 1-6. Adding filler is not super interesting.
I'm just surprised we have not gotten a 60 minute story of the night his kid were each born, or BT's Childhood stories, yet. Or miss Denno's first date. Not that any of these things are interesting, I just know there are tons of options for a million more non-important stories to intrude on ZF8+.
I'm just hoping they don't intrude too much.

The absolute best zombie series available!!!

Any additional comments?

This chapter of the Zombie Fallout series is as good or better than each of the previous ones. The characters remain interesting and enjoyable while the story continues into a new direction that leaves you craving the next book. Can't wait for Zombie Fallout 8!!!

It Felt like I waited FOREVER!!!!!

If you could sum up Zombie Fallout 7: For The Fallen in three words, what would they be?

Mike - Zombies - Smartass (I had to make that 1 word)

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's always been Mike with BT a close second. The two of them are amazing together. I just wish (sorry BT but....) that BT had vamp blood, the thought of him and Mike hanging together for who knows how many hundreds of years with their bickering now that would be a great book BUT I've already read/listened to Lycan Fallout so - oh well.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

He IS Mike Talbot, if he is ever replaced I really don't know if I could get used to someone else in his place, even in the Indian hill books, I was very happy to hear Sean's voice in my ear. He just has a way of hitting all the jabs at the right time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Actually I did ! I strap my ipod on my arm or put it into a iHome. I work from home so from 6am to when ever I listen.

Any additional comments?

MORE!!!! Ive listened to this series many times. For me there are just to many YA books out there, sure some are ok but I haven't found anything close to Mark Tufo books. I'm looking forward to more of the Lycan Fallout books, although without his "crew" it seems weird. I'm sure I'll get used to it. Mark Tufo you ROCK!!!

Anything by Tufo!!

Where does Zombie Fallout 7: For The Fallen rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of my favorite series! Great story and I love the narrator!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really love all the characters and hate to just pick one.

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I listen to a lot of audio books because I commute long distances to and from work. Runnette is one of the best narrators I have heard. He really brings the story to life, and I think he has a real connection to the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely! When is ZF8?

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend anything by Tufo! Love the work dude!
