Amazingly Read
I've previously read the entire series, and decided I would like to listen to the books on audio. The narrator kept me engaged and in the edge of my seat. He made the book come to life in a whole new way! Magical!

Every thing I expected...
This is the first review that I have written, but I must say that this book had me hooked right in the first chapter. It is an exellent read and I would suggest it to anyone. The narrator is absolutely amazing in how he portrays the book. Read for yourself.

I loved it so much. The characters were great the story kept me engaged the whole time. it was like a movie in my head. I couldn't wait to get back to it every time I left it I thoroughly enjoyed this story my hat's off to the writer and the narrator

preachy but entertaining
I bought this series in paper form and read them, if I hadn't I probably would not have finished this performance. narrator was very good, made from book worth finishing. I know the rest of the series gets better, so I will continue to listen. looking forward to the omen machine continuation.

Would you listen to Wizard's First Rule again? Why?
Probably not given the disappointment of the following books in the series.

The subsequent books in this series are narrated by different peoplesome do a really bad job. As an example in book 4 the narrator pronounces a pivotal characters name completely different. I can only assume he got the pronunciation wrong. Sadly the publisher has failed the listener with its varied choices of narrators. I love epic fantasy and generally love series. If you do as well you will know how great it is when the books have one narrator who brings characters to life. I enjoyed this book but am disappointed by following books in the series.
