Decent book
The book started to become boring near the end. Still not closer to seeing what will happen and I'm not sure I want to find out. With all the magic the bad guy used he couldn't stop falling to his death? Good story line though.

Good listen
CN Crawford does a nice job weaving a world full of heartless, blood thirsty, and self indulgent characters alongside compassionate and sympathetic humans. Battles occur in another dimension and horrors await the human/mage team. The story has likable characters and entertaining scenes. The protagonist seems to be a bit wishy-washy and impulsive but she’s definitely independent and full of warrior. The narrator did a good job.
