Publisher's Summary

Shoot first. Fight dirty. Get paid.

Bronco is a gun-slinging wastelander of dubious moral character and questionable sanity...and he is here to show you how to survive and thrive in the strangest of futures.

This guide contains useful information on a variety of topics such as scavenging tactics, guns and ammo, dystopian societies, psycho mutants, bloodthirsty cannibals, and radiation zombies.

Get ready for tall tales of gratuitous violence, misguided heroism, foul language, rampant hedonism, and heavy doses of gallows humor in this bizzaro take on the post-apocalypse.

    Any additional comments?

This was just a fun listen. Unusual and interesting. Not quite what I was expecting. But it turned out to be thoroughly enjoyable and very entertaining. The book blurbs description was perfect. Completely different from any other post society collapse books I have read.

A fun, humorous and somewhat semi-educational look at Bronco's rules of the wasteland in which he lives and some things he thinks you might want to know in case of a SHTF world. Not that I would take everything said seriously. Bronco has his own twisted and humorous thoughts on his post apocalyptic world as well as a little out of the box thinking on the collapse of society.

The narration was great. The sound effects added to the overall enjoyment. Teresa Duff and John Alan Martinson Jr. were the perfect compliment to each other. The narration made the book.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher.

"Zombielandish set of rules to live by"

I loved all the references to 80's post apocalypse movies and current video games. I got a kick out of the rules and the narrations. The random sound effects were very amusing. Over all a highly recommended romp through the apocalypse. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

    "My New Survival Bible?"
What did you love best about Wasteland Survival Guide?

“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

First I want to clarify that despite my moniker, I am not a Dennis!
Thank you and I hope you have a great day.

You will understand this at about 1 hour and 45 minutes into the presentation.

    Now on to my review:
I am going to buy the print version of this book to put in my 'Go-Bag" so when the mutant, raiders, marauders and zombies come for me I will be prepared.......to die laughing.

This is a great book and the narration is a level above, they are not narrators they are story tellers which I hold in higher regard.

"Be Prepared, It's Coming, A Must Have for Survival"

If you are anything like myself, you know there is more to what's really going on. The inevitable is coming and you need information to tell you what's going on and tells it like it is! This is not only a guide, its a hilarious, entertaining and informative enchiridion that provides anecdotes you can relate to. I not only like the rugged relatable narrator who's as real as they come, but the feminine narrator lends to an alternative point of view also skilled in survival, quick wit and strength. A must in your survival knowledge collection!!!

This audiobook is full of truth, as well as a great deal of humor. As I was listening to it, I found it quite difficult to stop because it was very entertaining and genuinely interesting. The narrating is superb, and is one of the reasons I enjoyed listening.

"Was expecting more story, less "shorts"."

Bronco and Julie narrate a humorous and somewhat educational tongue-in-cheek post-apocalyptic survival guide. Here we have a cross between Cabela’s, Auto Shopper, The Survivalist Blog, and Federal Firearms Newsletter. Although it was funny and slightly interesting it wasn’t my “cup of tea” so-to-speak. I was expecting more story and plot line rather than short advertising and educational outtakes. And don’t forget; shoot first, fight dirty, and get paid. "Apocalyptic Survival Guide of Humor"

A solid read for what it is, a humorous take on a post-apocalyptic world..The two narrators present a perfect foil for each other and is well done. All in all, a verbal walk through of my last play through of, " Fallout 4 ".

    "An Interesting Apocalyptic Survival Guide"

Wasteland Survival Guide was definitely an interesting listen. This was a contemporary, sci fi, fantasy story with some good pointers... you know, just in case. I found it more as entertainment for the stories or examples. It was just for fun as well as somewhat funny. A good one from Sean-Michael Argo.

I liked the way the duel narration sounded. I think one was first person and one was narrative. John Alan Martinson Jr. and Teresa Duff's performances were great. He sounded a little redneck and she a little formal. They played off each other well.

"Wasteland, scavenge or die. The guide."
What made the experience of listening to Wasteland Survival Guide the most enjoyable?

It's a guide to a apocalyptic world. The author explains his vision of a post-chemical-atomic-bombing-war future. You could take this book and make a role-playing game with it.
It is clearly listing everything that is needed to face a dangerous outside world, what is waiting for you in this new world and how you can survive it.

What does John Alan Martinson Jr. and Teresa Duff bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The book is read by two character, one of them sounds like a redneck and is telling you some back story with most of the items listed. These passages give life to the book. The other character is a woman companion which mostly reads the guide.
I was worry that It would get boring since it is a guide, but it was a fun fast-paced reading.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Wasteland, scavenge or die.
I don't think you could make a film with this book, but you could surely assemble some backstory in it to create something more sustainable for a film. I'm pretty sure the author could come up with a more complete scenario, because the world created in this guide is truly imaginative.
