Story
When a series of devastating terror attacks brought down the United States, Conor and Barb assumed they were safe in their compound. They had everything they needed. They were armed and highly trained. But then, Barb was kidnapped. The kidnappers didn’t know why Conor was known as The Mad Mick. They didn’t know the fear and respect his name invoked in the shadowy underworld of covert operations. They didn’t know that when it came to protecting his family, he was without conscience, without compassion, and without equal. But they would soon find out.

You are no one. Level zero. Empty of mind and memory. Even your past has been stripped from your brain by the inscrutable System. A long, difficult road lies between you and remembering any part of who you are. A road punctuated with one death after another. You are too puny to survive by might alone. Information is the single resource that might keep you alive, but the brainless “digis” have none of it. Story
Twenty years ago, the Merge brought armies of monsters flooding into the West Coast. Dungeons popped up in shopping malls, airports, and Starbucks. Walls were built to contain the spread, but the promise of priceless loot dropped by the creatures inspired a new type of gold rush. Clay Jaeger has nothing left outside the walls. Civilization took everything he worked for, chewed it up, and spat it out. Now Clay, his wife Alex, and his beer-loving, chainsaw-toting brother, Joe, are going west to try their hand at monster killing.

Story
The Superpox-99 virus has wiped out nearly the entire human race. Governments have collapsed. Cities have become graveyards filled with unspeakable horror. People have resorted to scavenging from the dead, or taking from the living. The entire industrialized world has become a wasteland of abandoned cars, decaying bodies, and feral animals. To stay alive, U.S. Deputy Marshal Mason Raines must forage for food, water, and gasoline while outgunning those who seek to take advantage of the apocalyptic anarchy. Together with his giant Irish wolfhound, Bowie, he aligns with survivors of the town of Boone in a life and death struggle against a gang of violent criminals. With each deadly encounter, Mason is force to accept his place as one of the nation's few remaining lawmen. In a world now populated by escaped convicts, paranoid mutants, and government hit squads, his only hope to save the townspeople is to enforce his own brand of frontier justice.

Publisher's summary
Shoot first. Fight dirty. Get paid.
Bronco is a gun-slinging wastelander of dubious moral character and questionable sanity...and he is here to show you how to survive and thrive in the strangest of futures.
This guide contains useful information on a variety of topics such as scavenging tactics, guns and ammo, dystopian societies, psycho mutants, bloodthirsty cannibals, and radiation zombies.
Get ready for tall tales of gratuitous violence, misguided heroism, foul language, rampant hedonism, and heavy doses of gallows humor in this bizzaro take on the post-apocalypse.

Be Prepared, It's Coming, A Must Have for Survival
If you are anything like myself, you know there is more to what's really going on. The inevitable is coming and you need information to tell you what's going on and tells it like it is! This is not only a guide, its a hilarious, entertaining and informative enchiridion that provides anecdotes you can relate to. I not only like the rugged relatable narrator who's as real as they come, but the feminine narrator lends to an alternative point of view also skilled in survival, quick wit and strength. A must in your survival knowledge collection!!!

Really funny!
I didn't really have any idea what I was getting into when I purchased this audiobook. Sean-Michael Argo has delivered a post-apocalyptic comedy masterpiece, with an outstanding performance by John Martinson of his character Bronco. I'd really like to hear more of Bronco's stories. This audiobook is just hilarious, especially if you're a fan of the genre.

Entertaining and intelligent
Author Sean Michael-Argo provides a very in depth presentation of survival in a post apocalyptic world. While the fantasy aspect of it is fun, it can be translated into survival in our modern and rapidly declining society.
His use of words describing how to analyze situations and effectively persevere over them is a clever education of those whom read or listen to this book.
John Martinson Jr. provides excellent personification of the lead character, enabling the listener to be swept into the world as if watching it on the screen or experiencing the world by his side, as is the presentation of the book. His masterful voice truly lends great depth to the world herein, and his ability to bring light hearted comedy through a matter-of-fact way, makes it feel that much more realistic and inspiring to the listener for preparedness.
Theresa Duff also provides an excellent vocal narrative, and I look forward to hearing more from her as she progresses.
All in all, a great read and great listening experience to anyone who has even the slightest interest in survivalism and living off grid.
Highly recommend!

Apocalyptic Survival Guide of Humor
A solid read for what it is, a humorous take on a post-apocalyptic world..The two narrators present a perfect foil for each other and is well done. All in all, a verbal walk through of my last play through of, " Fallout 4 ".

Seriously Good Advice
Shoot first. Fight dirty. Get paid. Bronco’s advice will help you stay alive in a post-apocalyptic future like no other you’ve read about. Along the way you will hear about all of the different and new cultures that have popped up since the end of civilization and how to manipulate, trade with or kill them. You will also hear about how society broke down in the first place and a little about what happened afterwards. But mostly, you will be entertained by the stories of what happens to people who don’t follow Bronco’s advice.
This was a very entertaining listen with excellent narration! I would love to hear more about this crazy world that Sean-Michael Argo has created and John Alan Martinson and Theresa Duff brought to life.

Best 4 hours and 53 minutes !
I so enjoyed every minute of this audio book. In my humble opinion this is a unique interpretation on what I thought was an over worked Post Apocalyptic Genre. It was fresh and exciting and terribly satisfying. John Alan Martinson Jr.'s narration (which put me in mind of the great Tom Stechschulte) added the perfect touch of verisimilitude. I will be looking through Audible's stacks for more of Sean-Michael Argo's work. I was provided a free copy of this work in exchange for this review but it is worth an audible credit and the expenditure of four + hours.

My New Survival Bible?
What did you love best about Wasteland Survival Guide?
“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”
First I want to clarify that despite my moniker, I am not a Dennis!
Thank you and I hope you have a great day.
You will understand this at about 1 hour and 45 minutes into the presentation.
Now on to my review:
I am going to buy the print version of this book to put in my 'Go-Bag" so when the mutant, raiders, marauders and zombies come for me I will be prepared.......to die laughing.
This is a great book and the narration is a level above, they are not narrators they are story tellers which I hold in higher regard.

Hilarious and useful. In between the laughs it gets you thinking about how you would handle surviving in a post apocalyptic situation. This reminded me of the Zombie Survival Guide which I also enjoyed.
