Dungeons and Stewie

I’ve listened to several books in this series and I am enjoying them but in the case of this one the narrator used a voice for the female half elf druid that sounded far from a female elf and a lot like Stewie Griffin from Family Guy which was unfortunately the one bad thing that I just couldn’t get over since I already dislike the voice used for the female elf wizard. But I can say I enjoy the narrators voices for other characters in the series.

Very cool story

What other book might you compare Treachery's Wake to and why?

Well, obviously since this comes from the D & D creative pattern it's fairly similar to some of the Icewind Dale and other Drizzt novels in it's lay out and general themes.

Have you listened to any of Dolph Amick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm currently listening to another audiobook he's done in this series, I think for the story he's a perfect fit. I wouldn't for example advise he do any of the Discworld books, but this sort of story is great.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Malthooz's death, I kept hoping someone would be able to heal him so that they could go off on a new adventure especially with his potential abilities....but no.
