As Kelsier's protégé and slayer of the Lord Ruler she is now venerated by a budding new religion, a distinction that makes her intensely uncomfortable. Even more worrying, the mists have begun behaving strangely since the Lord Ruler died, and seem to harbor a strange vaporous entity that haunts her.
Stopping assassins may keep Vin's Mistborn skills sharp, but it's the least of her problems.

Excellent, I NEED book three now!
I was pleasantly surprised when I was on the edge of my seat, when I teared up or sighed in response to action or emotional scenes. Very thoughtful character development and the science is so original and..well..cool! Best book/series I've heard yet!

Best book I ever read
Best book I ever read, dethroning Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.
Good mix of politics, philosophy, war, superpowers, action, romance, and deception.
But best of all is the character development, so much character development for the main cast. Even when I started to not like a character, it was done intentionally and purposefully.
Also it's an exciting end leading to the next in the series
