But they are not the last, and on the planet Juno they will meet their counterparts, the Black Corps, a force created by Earth’s government specifically to destroy them. The Black Corps outnumbers Taylor’s soldiers 2-1, and they have a vast advantage in supply and logistical support. But Taylor’s men are veterans of the furnace of Gehenna, and they don’t die easily.

But there is more at stake than the freedom of humanity, greater consequences to their fight than even Taylor can imagine. For there is another alien race, one shrouded in legend and myth, known to the Tegeri only as the Darkness. Long ago the Darkness.

good story but horrible editing and dreck.

long periods of the same old dreck. review of the past and how horrible the situation is occurs almost every third chapter.

Intriguing in concept

The conclusion should be fitting to the build-up, having taken us this far, let's finish this thing Together!

main character is a little too grim.

Jake becomes a little obsessed with his cause and too introspective about his burdens. making him seem two dimensional for most of the story until Blackie dies.

Different side

Enjoyed the story can't wait for the next one UN must go down. The dark ones shall fall under his wrath

Another nail bitter

Book two did lot dissapoint! Jay Allan delivers a great gripping story about a dystopian future in which the UN tyrannically controls earth and the portal world's. It's a sad story but compelling and will have you cheering for the heroes.

Loved the narration and story

Story is good. Narration is wonderful. It is a quick listen. I am anxiously waiting for book 3 and four...

Another great performance!

Loved book 1, boo2 also brings a great story to life. Love the special effects and voices used here, great listen!

Great Continuation of the Story

I am enjoying the overall story however I would like to see the next book extend beyond the timeframe of a single battle. The reader does a great job and the occasional sound affect was a nice addition.

Good story great narrator

He likes to do flash backs in the middle of things happening which makes it very difficult not to be frustrated and it's not just that he does the flash forward or back it's how he does it don't make us feel like we just dropped off a cliff in a storyline other than that well written excellently narrated

Loved the first book, this one, too redundant.

Wasted too much time on reintroducing the first. Good thing in the front of a sequel, however, continued to do so throughout.
