You gotta take time
This book requires a lot of attention from the reader. There are dozens of POV changes, even more side plots than other volumes of WOT. But the emotional pay off is so worth it. Especially Perrin, MVP of this book. Enjoy the ride!

best book in the series so far
first time listener here. I loved the interplay on emotions and comedy along with the epic battles. really starting to connect with Perrin and Nynaeve, they are my favorites. Not sure what lies ahead, and some of the scenes and dialogue don’t seem to make sense, but I hope for redemption as the series progresses! The narrators are at the top of their game, love their engaging and unique ways of adding personality and perspective on each character.

A book that stands out…
Finally I get some solid Perrin storyline! Obviously Perrin is my favorite character and man, oh man…I was pleased to death when I finished this book. Also, this part of the wheel of time story didn’t seem as “cliche fantasy” as the previous 3 entries. I think Jordan is really starting to shine as a storyteller and world-builder with this novel. Also, the narrators are unbelievable, which if you’ve been listening to the series so far - it goes without saying. Woildnhighly recommend! (Especially if you’re already 3 books deep!)

One Of The Best Fantasy Novels Ever
I am blown away by this book. It started a bit slow to me, but by the end I’m simply amazed. This book made me cry many times. The story is amazing. The performance by Michael and Kate was (as always) amazing. The world building was fantastic. THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT is so great. These are some of the best written characters in all of fiction. Perrin and Faile’s relationship was saccharine but in such a good way.
Seriously amazing book.
