excellent

My second time through the saga and it is just as good as the first time. it's rare that the last book is as good as the first but in this case it is better than the first. One of my favorite stories!

Mindblowing

The hyperion cantos and the emdymion book are together, by great length, the best cultural experience I've had in my life. They have thrilled me, scared me, excited me, made me blush, made me laugh, made me cry. They are beautifully written and the audio books are outstanding.

Thank you Dan.

May be Best Sci-fi Series Ever

Seven Samurai, Stranger in a Strange Land and A Sound of Thunder have a menage a trois; this is the cybrid love child.

If you love hard sci-fi from the silver age and razzle dazzle laser blasting of modern pulp, then step on in.

Oh, don't forget the most heartbreaking, literally star crossed, love story ever scribed.

Really enjoyed the whole series and was surprised he wrapped it up as well as he did

Fun mental exercise on what mysteries evolution and our universe may have in store. Some exciting scenes and lots of empathy and love.
