Audiobook Got Me Through
When The Host first came out I bought it in hardback and had the hardest time getting into it. I couldn't get past the first few chapters, which made me sad because I really wanted to like this book. However, I remembered an experience I'd had with another amazing book that I had had trouble getting into at first, but then ultimately loved after listening to the audiobook, so I, thankfully, decided to listen to The Host on audiobook. I have now listened to it more than ten times and still absolutely love it every single time. It gives such richness and depth to the story and Kate Reading is amazing!!! I highly recommend.

In my top 10 favorite books
I just finished reading The Host for the 5th time. I absolutely love this story. Stephanie’s writing is incredible and the story flows so well. The ended always brings tears to my eyes. I never want to book to end. Love love love

One of my all time favorites
This is one of my all time favorites of modern fiction.
Such a beautiful story.
The Narrator makes it all enjoyable.
The way she describes things... I found myself welling up with emotions.
I have listened to this atleast 20x.
Actually better than just reading the book.
When I watched the movie I was terribly disappointed.

Multiple Readthroughs
So far I've enjoyed every story told by Stephanie Meyers: Twilight Saga, The Chemist, and now Host. I listed to it from the Library 3 times back to back bit. When I couldn't renew, I bought it. It's is rare for me to purchase instead of loan or rent but I'm happy I have now that I've relistened for a 5th time. I hope you enjoy it too.
