slow going, but got really good!

excellent book. slow going to being for almost half the book, some of that was the narrator trying to find his groove, but once he did, and the story picked up, it was excellent! I'm looking forward to the next book.

Creative and entertaining.

The story is creative and entertaining, and the performance is very good. The only negatives are that it is a bit overly long, and the writing isn't as creative as the tale. However, I will be going on to the second book.

Easy to follow, and well read

This series has a lot of characters', like, Game of Thrones, but they are easier to follow and the story line holds it together so you don't forget a character and than they show up again and your lost for awhile. Like in the Game...
The reading is well done also, he's able to change his tone for the different characters, which a lot of readers don't bother with.

Gripping with a nice finish

I was worried for the first 20 minutes when it had mostly descriptive dialogue. Once the story started, I enjoyed every moment and had a few times I laughed out loud to myself.

One of the best I've read in a long time.

I loved every minute of this book. I can't wait to listen to the rest in the series. Fantastic story. Great narrator. A+!

great book but too much "he said" "she said". good twist at the end. would definitely recommend.

Unreal...a true masterpiece!

This is the first Sanderson novel I've "read" and it just blew me away! So many new concepts! Sanderson is a genius! In a way I'm upset I haven't started sooner but also grateful that I know have a new author who can truly captivate me. The characters were perfect, the plot was ridiculously exquisite! Thank you Mr Sanderson...thank you!

Lord Ruler!

This story is amazing and I can't wait for the next one. It's a can't Mist book!
