The quadrant is burning. Violent, deadly uprisings are breaking out, seemingly at random, all across the Confederation's sphere of influence. The response by the powerful Confederation Fleet has been swift and decisive, but for every planet they restore order to, another erupts into chaos. Omega Force is working along the frontier worlds when they're forced to come to the aid of a longtime ally and soon realize that the two events are not unrelated. The deeper they dig into the occurrences, the more Captain Burke finds he doesn't know who he can trust as he tries to unravel the mystery and not only exonerate his friend but keep himself, and his crew, alive.

A whole series of space books that seem like real history and real life. The characters in this authors book are incredible and I can't wait to hear what they do next I love this series I love this author, I am an Audible junkie! Give us more give us more!

This was an engaging story with some painfully obvious story points that left me screaming "what are you thinking" in my head. All in all a good continuation of the series although I worry about the growing arrogance of Capt Jason.
Can't say enough good things about this series. The author does such a compelling job of writing characters that draw you in and I find that I can't help but smile or laugh when listening to this series. The best compliment I can give this series is that it is like an extended Guardians of the Galaxy but with even more heart and more fleshed out characters. Do yourself a favor and listen to this series!
What do you do when you're accidentally kidnapped from planet earth in a spaceship? Escape your captor, rescue people in trouble, and kick some ass along the way?
This is one of my favorite science fiction series of all time. It's fun, witty, ridiculous, and the characters are absolutely fantastic.
Paul Heitsch delivers time and again in each book of this series. He is able to impart a distinct characteristic and tone of voice for each of the many different types of characters and peoples.
I sincerely hope to see many more books in this series for years to come.
**Full disclosure: I received a review copy of this book.**

great book with a star wars han solo type of crew. The story line was not predictable and fed a little off of the first book in the series. I listened to this book out of order by accident skipping book two and there was no knowledge gaps in the story. I have come to love the characters and the humor dabbled in had me laugh out loud . The ending of this book was a little abrupt compared to the rest of the story but fed well to start the next book. the voice talent is very good and I could tell the difference between each character. He made them come alive in the story.
