Kip finally gets through the grinding of not knowing his strengths. The characters keep getting deeper the plots thicken the world expands and the magic shines in many facets.

Fantastic
It can be hard to please me since Brandon Sanderson sunk his claws into me, but Brent Weeks has gone above and beyond. I got my brother into this series after I read the first book, and knowing there are so many more has me elated. If you liked The Black Prism, continue on. It gets even better.

Narrator does justice to this great story.
Read the first time in hard copy. The second time through via audio book was just as hard to put down. Simon Vance's narration was excellent, even managing to make me laugh out loud when other narrators so often lose the humour in the original text.
