Wait for it...

As many have stated, you got to wait for it, it all comes together. Very very interesting trilogy. I feel I am much older now. I would have never know about this trilogy of not for Iron Maiden’s Silent planet song.

So current in political intrigue and power struggle.

Lewis was extraordinarily prescient, noting the inclinations of human nature and the logical outcome of certain philosophies that were already gaining ground in the 1940s. I have enjoyed this for decades, but more now that ever.

puts into words what I could not.

great conclusion to rest of trilogy. sometimes great truths are best described as a parable as the Lord Jesus Christ taught. any one who is looking for something a little more in depth entertainment for heart and mind this is excellent. C.S. Lewis was years ahead of his time in this story. It exposes the evil found in communist philosophy, and the way people become insensitized to the way they view others and the world around them. Yet it shows what true life is in Christ and the intimacy in which we are to love others.

Marvelous, moving, and insightful

Highly recommend the trilogy. Keen insight into eternal truths, and more applicable today than when it was written more the 75 years ago.

C S Lewis

Lewis is quite the story teller. His stories mix eternal truths with engaging stories. Highly recommended.

excellent story, and scary look at the present

cs Lewis is amazing in his description of how a dystopian future is possible, blended into a wonderful, educational tale.

Excellent Story

The narrator's voice brings a distinct British flavor to the story, adding quite a lot to the experience. While Out of the Silent Planet read like an adventure novel and Perelandra read like a theological treatise, That Hideous Strength has an almost murder mystery feel. My favorite book of the space trilogy.

Lewis was visited by the angels for this

Lewis's fiction always leaves you aching for more. Thrilling yet touching. Just enough out of reach from reality.
