This third novel in Tanya Huff's action-packed series features Tony Foster and the crew of "Darkest Night," a TV series about a vampire detective. This time they find themselves facing another supernatural menace, a Demonic Convergence. Tony - with the help of vampire Henry Fitzroy and Leah, a stuntwoman who is the last surviving priestess of a sex demon, plus a tabloid reporter and a Canadian Mountie - must keep the key to the convergence alive to prevent a demonic invasion so large scale that it could be the finale - for the whole world.

If you like your contemporary paranormal fantasy with plenty of humor, don't mind that the protagonist is gay and that the book has a real story instead of a thin gloss over a lot of sex scenes, give this a try.
I love how well Henry is portrayed by Brian Sutherland as well as Tony. It was easy to keep up the dialogue even with out the writing telling me who is speaking. There are 2 points in the audio that was repeated though, a little bit of editing error that's easy enough for me to get through... Although it did confuse me for a moment.
The final installation of the Smoke series, where Tony finally comes into his powers as a Wizard while trying to stop an apocalypse (again). I love Tanya Huff's humor, especially the jokes about the vancouverites considering I was once one myself so it really hit home for me.
Now if only there were more of the Tony Foster series I would die happy. He was a favorite character in the Blood Pact series and he is a fave now. His down to earth and "I see what's there" attitude makes a very interesting character development.
