Publisher's summary

Et tu, vampire? The boys discover they may be tied to a string of serial killings at the college and that they suddenly aren't the only vampire game in town.

The vampire count in Charlotte is at least three. Or more. As far as the unhappy boys are concerned, anything more than two is a crowd not to be tolerated.

While tracking down the killer and the competition, they encounter coeds, booby traps (not related to the coeds), and a hirsute bounty hunter with a moon fetish and a bad attitude. To catch the killer, Jimmy will have to survive a dive headfirst into the great unwashed horde of Dorkdom (game night at the local comic shop).

What's a red-blood-drinking vampire to do? His job. Again.

These charactors are better on the third book

What made the experience of listening to Knight Moves the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the first two books and this third one is best yet. Not so smart know everything of guys who just happen to be dead

What other book might you compare Knight Moves to and why?

Never really come across a story line like this, it is different in an entertaining sort of way

What does Nick J. Russo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I must admit that Mr Russo has got the read down pretty well for the charactors in the book He does a great job

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked when the broke into the wine cellar

Any additional comments?

I do hope that Mr Hartness will not leave us hanging too long for the rest of the story. NOT fair if he doesn't give us at least one more book.

Best book in the series so far.

I really enjoyed this book. The introduction of Abby as the neophyte vampire was a great addition to the story. It gives Jimmy a chance to show a different side to himself, rather then just snarking all the time and getting horribly beat up B-). I also liked the continuing character developement for the rest of Jimmy's crew as well. I am looking forward now to the next book.

Another Great book

This is another great book by our favorite detective vampires duo and this time he brought along his pet. All they need is a van and some snacks!! This book is such a fun read and the narrator does a great job with all of the character voices. I love all of Hartness's snappy dialogs and his reference to current events. It is super fun read and entertaining.

Team Nerd

Any additional comments?

Another good story in the series. The snarkiness is still there, along with plenty of action. Story lines are developing nicely, the kids are growing up so to speak.

Done with this series

It's pretty hard to get into a book when you know all the good guys are going to survive know matter what they do or how bad they screw up; and the worst part is the writer can tell a good story. There are no big plot twists just good vs evil, with evil always losing and good coming out with no casualties. Very disappointing...
