Cassandra Palmer recently defeated a god, which you'd think would buy a girl a little time off. But it doesn't work that way when your job description is Pythia - the world's chief clairvoyant. Cassie is busier than ever, trying to learn about her power, preparing for her upcoming coronation, and figuring out her relationship with the enigmatic sexy master vampire, Mircea.
But someone doesn't want Cassie to become Pythia and is willing to go to any lengths to make sure the coronation ceremony never happens - including attacking her mother before Cassie is even born.
Spend some more time with Cassandra Palmer.

I love to read, but I am time-limited. Audible allows me to keep up with all my favorite authors while on the hiking trail. Thanks, Audible!
What could be harder than killing a god? That would be killing three gods. In Hunt the Moon, Cassie Palmer takes on another fantastical task, namely kill another god (or in this case the god???s representatives). Don???t worry. This is not a repeat of the last book. In this installment of the Cassandra Palmer series, we also learn more about Cassie???s mother and father as well as more about Lord Mircea and John Pitchin. But the burning question still remains: Mircea or Pritchin? In other words, to love or to be in love? It must be ???to be in love???; therefore, it must be Pritchin. Karen Chance has outdone herself with her action-packed plot and witty narrative, and she does a wonderful job with Marco, Jonas Marsden, and Fred. The absolute worst thing about this book is the fact that it is over. I can???t wait for book 6.
This book was everything I hoped, But who does Cassie really love.....I hope the next book answer some question, like why is Prickin helping Cassie? And who is he really?? Sometimes I feel the writer forget we need some more than a few setence on background of main players in the book, just sayin!!
Start with book 1, you will not be sorry...
I really enjoyed the latest installment of this series. Great characters and lots of action are entertaining to the last word. The narrator, Cynthia Holloway is excellent.
Cassie is trying to determine if the love Mircha and her share is real or if it is contrived from the spell. The only way she feels she can do this is by dating. Mainly him, but between her coronation to Pithia, saving her mother's life to inevitably save her own, and fighting demigods; she's a little busy for dating. In the mean time she is fighting with her own issues of wondering why she fights at all.
80% of my day my ear has a story running it. *LOL*
these t edge of ur seat books. diffrent from others containing vampires witches etc. there r just so many ways to write about fantasy. and this author thinks out of the box.
I have listened to all of tne books in the series and am listening to them again while waiting for Resp the Wind. This book has some of my favorite scene s between Cassie and Pritkin.
I love all types of fiction; Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, SciFi, Mystery, Detective, and the occasional Romance.
I love this series. The narrator is good, Ms. Holloway does a creditable job with accents and differentiating character voices...and there are a LOT of characters to keep track of in these books! The plot thickens in this series, and it is starting to get a little muddled. It is still a great series, I just wonder how much farther the author can take it. in the last book and this one Cassie kills a god (little "g" but still). What does a girl do for an encore after that?
Pritkin. He comes through for Cassie every time; he is reliable, constant, selfless and pretty damn badass; and the sexual tension between them is not to bad either...the only problem is Cassie doesn't seem to even realize she has feelings for him.
I have listened to all of the Cassandra Palmer series so far...and the first two in the Dorina Basarab series. This one is my least favorite so far in the Cassie Palmer series...but not by much, it is still pretty darn good.
Not a one sitting obsession book, but maybe 2 or 3
Book version is better!!!!!
I've read all these books until book 5. I decided to do audible. The narrators voice was annoying. I'm going to download the book on my iPad. The series is great and it's sad how certain narrators can ruin it. I just finished on audible The Georgia Kincaid Series by Richelle Mead and narrated by Elisabeth Rodgers, she was outstanding!!!!! Karen Chance needed her.
