BOOK 2 IN THE IRON DRUID CHRONICLES

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty - when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II.

With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas with their special brand of deadly decadence, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt. But aided by his magical sword, his neighbor’s rocket-propelled grenade launcher, and his vampire attorney, Atticus is ready to sweep the town and show the witchy women they picked the wrong Druid to hex.

Better as an audible book

Where does Hexed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Mid range. The reader does a great job bringing the characters to life, particularly Oberon, the dog. We have talked about this book more than any previous audiobook. The characters are compelling and Oberon has become part of our family. Some of the writing is formulaic and some of the plot devices are predictable, but overall the concept and execution are unique and fun and a worthwhile listen.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Oberon. For the treats, naturally.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

We laughed out loud multiple times when listening to the dog's view of the world. Hilarious!

Luke Daniels Rocks!

If you could sum up Hexed in three words, what would they be?

Love my Atticus!!

Would you recommend Hexed to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, I would. Luke Daniels brings Atticus to life with his great performance. Kevin Hearne writes stories that are entertaining, quickly engaging and just plain fun.

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. I am a new fan to the Iron Druid series and I can only hope that Luke Daniels will be the narrator, or should I say, voice of Atticus, for the entire series.

Fun story

So far I've enjoyed both stories thus far. Looking forward to the third! The end in this book was not as captivating as it was in "hunted" my opinion obviously but still a great story nonetheless
